1. Meet Me Video Worth Watching
Have you seen my new Meet Me Video?

So many people have connected with people online but have yet to really get to know them.  I have found that using video helps in a tremendous way to introduce myself to those who are connected with me in the various networks I belong to all over the internet.

I know it 's not likely that everybody who is on my email list or reads my blogs will take the time to view "Meet Me Video."  I do suspect a few will. Even if you've been on my email list for quite a while you'll want to see this new video.  I'v e even included a special bonus video with it that will help you in your personal branding campaign.

2. Stop Branding Your Company or Start Branding Yourself
In an age of, "it's all about me," it's high time to start promoting yourself online.  If you haven't started branding yourself, you might want to start right away.  Tell me what is better, to brand your company website with thousands of others or brand yourself?  Of course branding you seems a bit self centered to many but the reality is branding ourselves online is how we distinguish ourselves from our competitors outside our companies and inside our companies.

Promotion on the internet is like companies who advertise the same campaigns over and over again until we get tired of seeing them. They don't consult us when they decide to quit advertising.  They keep their campaigns going until they make a difference in their bottom line.

What will it take for you to take the next step and start branding yourself?  Okay, some of you are already branding yourself but have you quit on yourself somewhere along the way?  If you have, it's time to get back in the game.  It's time to step up your marketing efforts and start letting people know who you are.

Just today I was talking to a young man in college who seems to think  he has to be a certain age before he will have something others will take interest in.  I helped him do a little soul searching and he discovered he has a story just like everybody else.  He's now on the road to branding himself.

I'm just communicating this information to you today to motivate you to be bolder than you've ever been.  Get your story online and say it and say it again over and over until you get tired of hearing it and say it some more.  Do more than you've allowed yourself to do in the past.  Step your game up, boost your confidence and get to it.

You see the key to the kind of business most of us are in requires that we learn, do and teach.  If we are honestly learning how to brand ourselves, we have to do it and if we are doing it, we have to eventually teach it.  If you need more knowledge or tools, that's not a problem. Stop by my website and see how I'm doing what I've learned. I'll be happy to teach you what I know.  CedReynolds.ws

5. Leadership Advancement Based On Biblical Numbers
Did you know that people like recognition sometimes even more than money? Some people will work harder to attain a particular title because it makes them feel like they've accomplished something.

The great thing about Network Marketing is that most of the time titles are attained, there is a certain amount of money that comes with it. So attaining a title is just not for the sake of attaining a title.

I want to share with you the significance of titles in our campaign. Now, this will seem different to most of you but if you're a Christian Network Marketer, you should recognize the significance of the numbers used.

Disciples - People who initially join our campaign and share their testimony online

Discipleship Leaders - People who are being discipled and have helped 2 disciples share their testimonies online. The significance of 2 is Jesus first recruited 2 disciples and told them to follow Him and He would make them fishers of men.

Sr. Discipleship Leaders - People who are being discipled and have built a team of 12 disciples who have shared their testimonies online. The significance of 12 is Jesus eventually recruited 12 disciples to follow Him.

Regional Discipleship Leaders
- People who are being discipled and have built a team of 70 disciples who have shared their testimonies online, The significance of 70 is Jesus sent 70 disciples out 2 by 2 to spread the good news He taught them.

National Discipleship Leaders - People who are being discipled and have built a team of 120 disciples who have shared their testimonies online. The significance of 120 is this was the number of disciples who waited for the Holy Spirit in the upper room in Jerusalem after the crucifixion and death of Jesus.

International Discipleship Leaders
- People who are being discipled and have built a team of 500 disciples. The significance of 500 is over 500 disciples saw Jesus after He was resurrected from the dead.

2, 12, 70, 120 and 500 mean a lot to believers because as we have studied the word of God we can readily relate to their significance. Without these numbers our titles would have no significance. Just fyi, there are certain dollar amounts associated with these numbers for those who participate with us Global Domains International affiliates.

The Campaign is called Winning Souls found @  WinningSouls.ws

7. Christians Find Online Great Place to Evangelize
Why is it okay to have multiple businesses and not internet ministries? The online world has brought a degree of participation in global ministry to more ministries than we can think of. We are definitely in a different age. The internet has changed the game so much that the average person can do what once was set up for the super successful.

For years we’ve been hearing “you can only ride one horse at a time”, “you can only drive one car at a time”, “you can’t chase two rabbits at the same time”… You know the deal. I was one to believe it for a long time. But I still wonder why so many people continue to desire to do website evangelism. I can only imagine they like the idea of having more options should things change with one ministry assignment.

The people I’ve studied in the high income ranks are people like Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Kiyosaki, Martha Stewart, Warren Buffett, Magic Johnson and a host of business owners in various areas of business. All of these folks have multiple streams of income. Oh, they may not have started that way but somehow they have ended up doing very good in a variety of areas. Personally I don’t think it was completely by accident. Imagine any of these people not taking advantage of the opportunities that have come their way in their business lifetime. None of them would probably be the moguls we know them to be today.

But where does this fit in where we live? I’m talking about normal everyday people like you and me. People who have been chasing ministry dreams for years and years. Can we really work projects at the same time? Sure we can. Especially with God on our side. If we put our minds to anything, we can do it. All it takes is desire and a well executed plan. On top of that, because our assignments are for the Kingdom of God, we will have a greater impact.

Begin to look at your life and see where you've come so far. Today the internet is and will be a component of most people's lives no matter what. No matter what our station is in life today, somehow the internet is connected to at least the leadership we're connected with.

10. Conversion of a Different Sort
Most people have heard of evangelists.  At least the kind of evangelists who preach in churches, tents and and stadiums. These evangelists are the men and women who tell the story of their God to people who know their God but their primary aim is to influence the ones who don't know their God.

When you think about it, people who do business, do something very similar. They talk to present their wares and opportunities to people who know a little about them but they really want to convert the ones who have never heard about them.  New converts are the best converts because they have been caught in a moment of big time change in their lives and they can't wait to tell others about what has happened to them.

If you look at the comparison of evangelists who are doing the Lord's work and evangelists who are promoting their wares and opportunities, you'll find that "conversion" is the ultimate aim.  In the case of evangelists in the church realm, they can only see the unconverted converted.  In the case of the evangelists in the business realm, they can see the already converted again and the unconverted converted for the first time.

If you're in business today, you have a great opportunity to identify potential customers in a great way. Some of them already have engaged with wares and opportunities similar to yours.  But even better than that, you have the opportunity to help those who have never seen or heard of your offering to gain access for the first time. What a privilege!

My aim as an Entrepreneurial Pastor is to empower entrepreneurial believers to evangelize everywhere everyday via the internet.  We are not only are looking for the unconverted regarding the claims of Christ, we are also looking for those who have said yes to Jesus to join our cause and help the already converted re- engage in their faith.

You see, we are taking a page out of the business evangelists who pursue the converted and the unconverted.

12. Easy to Quit When Things Get Tough
If this internet stuff is so easy why are you having such a tough time?  That's a legitimate question that deserves an answer.  It's the same question I asked when I got involved in sales when I was in college and the same thing I asked when I became a pastor.  Why is this so tough for me?

The reality of doing anything that's worth doing is that it's hard.  Life in general is hard, so let's not make such a big deal about it.  There have been times in most of our lives when things were difficult and we eventually found a way to make things work.  We just didn't quit.  We stayed in the fight because of a "red hot" belief that we not only could but would conquer.

When it comes to the internet, you have to realize even though it seems like it's been around a super long time, it really hasn't. Do you know how long it takes for a new industry to took root?  What about how long it takes for people to adapt to new ideas, let alone something like the  internet?  When people do finally adapt to new things on most levels there is a learning curve that's all over the map.  The teaching of new concepts is generally faulty and will undergo it's on evolution and the students have to retaught.  Does that sound like anything you've been though since you've been working online?

Listen, if you've come this far working or doing ministry on the internet, it's certainly not time to quit.  Believe it or not, you might very well be one of the ones sought after for the knowledge you have.  After all you've been through the ups and downs of what's right and what's wrong marketing online.

I'm living in an exciting moment today because I have come to the conclusion that most people will be followers because they refuse to go through what it takes to master new ideas and industries.  That's where you and I come in.  There will always be a need for leaders. The only difference will be what kind of leader will you be.  Will you be one who chose to go through the fire where it's definitely evident that you know what you're talking about or the kind of leader who will just shovel garbage to people who sincerely looking for answers?

I hope you get where I'm coming from today.  My hope is you stay in the game.  Continue to learn as much as you can.  Do what you learn and begin teaching others what you do.  Good leaders are not afraid to go back and say to their students and/or clients, "I was wrong."

We're in the Internet Age and those who pay the price will be glad they did.

Stay blessed,

Ced Reynolds, Entrepreneurial Pastor

13. Stop Learning and Stop Earning - Guaranteed
Learning is a way of life rather you're coming from ground zero or you're already at the top of your field.  If you have ever felt you were done with learning, you probably soon discovered that you still had a long way to go.

There are so many people who work online doing ministry or business who don't know the half of what it takes and will take to make a legitimate impact on their target market.  The internet changes so much, we have to keep our ears and eyes open and make adjustments as necessary to reach our objectives.

The neat thing about those who continue to stay open to learning, is they become sought after for their knowledge. They become the ones who are compensated for providing knowledge others need to progress in their online business or ministry.

When you think about it, the internet is not much different from any other industry when it comes to acquiring knowledge.  Those who acquire knowledge in any arena and keep acquiring knowledge soon separate themselves from those who just take stabs at getting what they need for the moment.

Here's a closing thought for you.  Ask yourself, "what do you want to be known for in your industry?"  The key is starting and not stopping.  I mean getting going with great passion and continuing with increasing passion about your industry or ministry.  The more people see you believer what you say you believe, the more you'll have people listening to and doing what you do.  Best of all, they will gladly pay you to teach them to do what you do.

Notice, the approach of learning and educating others.  It's not about promoting a product or service (nothing wrong with promoting a product or service).  The key to personal marketing rather online or offline is reaching the hearts of prospects and soon to be clients.

If you really want to separate yourself from other marketers, connect with prospects and soon to be clients personally via phone, email, Skype or in person.  While others are trying to bring massive traffic to their sites, you could be offering personal service to individuals and small groups of people who really want the knowledge you have.  On top of that, these folks have the need and the means to pay for what they need.

That's all I have to say!

14. Too Much Dependency Can Hurt You

When Jesus told His disciples to "go into all the world and preach the gospel," they knew He wouldn't be with them nor would He come and rescue them in their moments of failure. They also knew it would be up to them to "make disciples."

Fast forward to the modern era of Church life. Now this is just an observation from my limited view of the Church. I sense that "going into all the world and preaching the gospel" has been relegated to a select few folks who have gone through tremendous training (not unlike the disciples of Jesus). Furthermore discipleship seems to be more of a "church leadership" responsibility than an "individual believer" responsibility.

I won't belabor this lack of dependency mode the Church has appeared to be in during this era.

The point I want to drive home is about the use of the internet for evangelism and discipleship. I think the internet is probably the most accessible tool to the average believer to do the Great Commission and disciple those who come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The tough thing about technology is average people shy away from it until they find it non threatening. Generally the people who make it non threatening to them are people they know, like and trust. In the case of the Church, it falls to the leadership to bring this degree of trust that the internet is okay to use in doing the Great Commission and discipleship.

The challenge I think the Church will face, is the leaders doing such a good job of doing the Great Commission via the internet that the average believer will again be threatened. Consequently, the leaders will continue to do the work and find a "role" where the believer can feel as though they making a contribution.

Unfortunately, in my opinion the role tends to be something that takes away the power of the believer to actually be engaged in doing what they have been commissioned to do by Jesus. Sure they make a contribution but is it at the cost of never actually being empowered to do the Great Commission?

The internet can be used by every believer who desires to reach out to a lost and dying world with the good news of Jesus.  There are three things that every believer has in common that make it possible to be empowered to evangelize the world and disciple others via the internet.

Those three things are:

1. They all love Jesus

2. They all have a testimony

3. They all have a responsibility to disciple others

Doing these three things online is not new.  In fact there is a project called Winning Souls where believers who share these three components are engaged in owning their own websites where they share their love for Jesus via their testimonies on their own websites.  Lastly, they disciple others who love Jesus to share their testimony and they encourage them to disciple others to do the same...

This is the kind of project that is simple enough for the average believer to participate in and definitely feel empowered to do the Great Commission and disciple others.  This is a project that liberates believers from depending on Church leaders to do what they as believers have been commanded to do.

Find out more about Winning Souls and discover how you can do the Great Commission and disciple others online.

15. Scattered Thoughts Can Lead To Squandered Money
Have you ever been all over the map when it came to your thought life?  Well, I have.  What I have noticed more times than not was I squandered money left and right.

Thank God that's not the case anymore.  With experience and proper learning about using money for God's purposes and not just my own, I've come to understand my purpose for working online and offline is to bring the Lord glory through my life.  Certainly squandering money won't do that.

Today I help people discover their purpose as Christians by empowering them to evangelize everywhere everyday via the internet.  No, I'm not saying all Christians are Evangelists but I am saying that all Christians ought to Evangelize.  It's our way of demonstrating the the Lord we're serious about "The Great Commission" and not just receiving "commissions" (if you know what I mean).

If you're ready to get focused, I want to encourage you to find your purpose in God and begin to pursue it with kind of passion only God can give.  Now, I know most people read something like this and say to themselves, "I'm trying but I just can't seem to get what it is I'm supposed to do."  As a pastor, I hear this all the time.

Here's a simple truth I've discovered about every Christian that will help each one of us find our purpose.

1. All Christians love Jesus

2. All Christians have a testimony

3. All Christians "should" disciple others

There's no way we can Evangelize and not get wisdom.  It just comes with the territory.  The more people we speak with about the claims of Christ or even share our testimony with, the more questions we'll have to field.  The wisdom comes from having to get the answers people are asking about the Lord.

As a Christian business owner, my hope is that you'll consider staying focused on the purpose the Lord has assigned you.  It boils down to what He wants and not what we want.  In fact, life gets a whole lot better when we focus on His purpose because God's only obligated to meet our needs our needs pertain to His will.  He has a plan and you're part of it.

No more scattered thoughts and no more squandering money. It's time to live on purpose for the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

Stay blessed,

17. Unskilled To Skilled | 5 Skills To Make it Online
Making it when you're not the most skilled person is not easy but it is possible. If you've been working online or offline doing ministry or business you know what I'm talking about.

For those of you who are in the process of working an online business or ministry, I want to point out some basics that will help you move into another realm. Now keep in mind I first mentioned that you might not be the most skilled person. So, your question might be, "how can I make it online with limited skill?"

First of all if you're reading this blog post, you have the skill to get online sufficiently. That's the first skill.

The second skill is being able to follow simple instructions.

The third skill is being able to stay on task.

The forth skill is being able to gather valuable content. Now, you're saying okay, I knew there was a catch. Please hold on for a moment. I want to show you exactly what I'm talking about. Remember the second skill of following simple instructions? If you follow my instructions you'll be able to gather more valuable content than you ever dreamed of without ever having to write or produce an audio or video.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about. CURATION. It's as simple as clicking a mouse. Curation is simply gathering or collecting items of interest to you and others like you. It's like a museum curator gathering artifacts for the museum and their patrons.

The fifth and final skill is back to following instructions on the Curation page I'll be referring you to. Just in case you were wondering, this is not an affiliate program. I do not make a penny from you acquiring your own Curation page. I do this to pass along info to my friends who have been struggling working online because I know what it's like. Curation is a short cut to becoming an expert in the area you choose to promote online.

Here's my Curation page so you can see exactly what I'm talking about.  scoop.it/t/online-evangelism

Here's a couple of bonuses for you who are overachievers and want to succeed in a bigger way by combining various marketing platforms.

Disclaimer: Of course it takes more than five skills to make it online or offline if you want to do things on a bigger scale. Those steps would be a commitment to learning and a commitment to investing in your ministry or business.

18. Ready to tell your story?
What's your story?

You wouldn't be here if you didn't have a story. If you've been involved with marketing for any length of time you've no doubt heard that, "stories sell and facts tell." My question is why don't more people share their stories then. That's when it hit me. It's time to help others start sharing their positive uplifting stories.

What you saw on the ad page that led you here today were three simple things.

1.) Share your story - see http://cedreynolds.ws/5Minutes

2.) Help others share theirs

3.) Get Paid for a Lifetime

Here's the big secret. It's really nothing new. It's just something most of us have never taken advantage of. Now you might use this story telling venture differently than I use it. You see, I happen to be a pastor who believes in helping my church members share their personal stories online to encourage others. In doing so some of them have become a bit more aggressive than others. In doing so, they have developed the third component (getting paid) by doing the second component (helping others...)

Here's how this works. I'm going to ask you to join me for a free 7 day trial offer and ask you to share your story on a .WS website. Perhaps you've heard of Global Domains International or maybe you haven't. It doesn't matter. We have found a unique way to utilize their platform to help marketers and non marketers share their stories and earn a lifetime residual income for helping others simply share their stories on a .WS website. This is the simplest plan on the internet. I mean it. It is just plain simple.

Here's what you'll get

1st - You get trained on how to share your story in 2 - 5 minutes

2nd - You get your own domain name (mine is CedReynolds.ws)

3rd - You get 10 webpages to do with what you please after sharing your story

4th - You get a website builder

5th - You get 10 customized email address accounts

6th - You get 10 customizable WordPress blogs

7th - You get a hosting account to make everything live on the internet

Anytime during the 7 day free trial offer, you can decide to cancel and you will not be charged. Our hope is you will keep your domain name for life, keep your positive uplifting story live on the internet and help others share theirs. For as long as others share theirs, you'll continue to get paid month after month. So, if you're ready, all you have to do is click on the sign up button below and you'll be directed to a sign up page. You will be asked for some basic information and your credit card will be charged only if you decide to keep your website package.

20. Evangelism...More Than a Christian Thing
Evangelism is a term generally associated with Christian churches. It's not unusual to hear of an evangelistic campaign that will be taking place on any given weekend. Evangelism is reaching people who are uninformed about what Christianity is about. The aim is get the attention of non believers and present the gospel of Jesus Christ to them.

Let me ask you a question. Have you ever heard the terms, "technology evangelists or online evangelists?" There are people who actually function is these roles. They evangelize by reaching out to people who are uninformed about their particular technology and present them with the facts about their technology.

Evangelism is something that is obviously not limited to the Christian church. The question is, who is more evangelistic these days, the Christian church or the Technology companies? Hmm...

I have to say this. I really think this is a wake up call to the Christian church. To see Technology companies being so bold about labeling their salespeople as "evangelists" is saying they get it when it comes to what they have to do to get the word out about what they believe. The message of the Christian church has been around well over 1,900 years longer than the technology message. Another hmm...

I know a church looking for committed evangelists. It's called the Christian church. If you're a Christian using the internet, you can become an Online Evangelists spreading the word to non believers about who Jesus is. The Christian church needs you.

21. Taking Online Evangelism To Another Level

There is no doubt that the internet is being used to evangelize the world.  The question is what it the most popular evangelistic message? We see major companies,  non profit groups, small and large businesses and of course religious organizations.

As a pastor and entrepreneur, I can see a great benefit to using the internet to evangelize.  We live in a world where people connect with each other so easily that it just makes sense to evangelize online.

Now, I'm not some internet guru but I do navigate my way around the internet fairly well.  In my browsing, I've connected with people from all kinds of backgrounds.  Even people who speak English as a second language seem to reach out to me because of my business interests.  This has given me such a great audience to share the good news of Jesus.

Something I have longed to do as a pastor was to find an avenue where believers could share their testimonies online.  Of course social media profile pages came to my mind right away.   I'm a pastor and my profile lets people know who I am right away.  In fact I identify myself as an Entrepreneurial Pastor so people don't have to wonder.  I just give a glimpse of who I am in writing on my social media profiles though.

I find using a profile to share my testimony  a bit overwhelming to some visiting my profiles. The idea came to me to use websites.  There are free websites such as http://webs.com where people can share their testimonies in video, audio or in written form. They can even blog on a consistent basis to stay connect with their readers.

You can also use http://blogger.com , http://wordpress.com or http://tumblr.com These are free to use and have some great tools that come with them.   Anybody who is serious about sharing their story and doesn't want to do it on a social media profile, using a free website is a great option.

Then there are those super serious people who are proactive sharing their faith using the internet.  These folks are so committed they use their own websites.  Many of them use .com, .info, .net and .ws domain extensions with their own name or a ministry name to promote their testimonies and ministry.

The difference here is those who use the .ws websites are part of the Winning Souls campaign.  They not only share their testimonies online, they actually help build teams of people who help others share their testimonies on .ws websites.  For doing so, they get compensated and so do the team builders they recruit and train.

The internet is fast becoming more than a source for sharing information.  It is also a place where people are beginning to earn significant incomes for doing what they love.  In this case we're really talking about believers who disciple others who disciple others who disciples others who share their testimonies online on their own .ws websites.

The Winning Souls Campaign is open to anybody who loves Jesus, has a testimony to share and is willing to help others who love Jesus share their testimonies on a .ws website.  Find out more @ http://winningsoul.ws

22. Create Your Own Movement
When I went to work on the internet, I never thought I would be in a position to influence people to share their stories all over the world. The more I thought about it, the more I realized everybody has a story.

I happen to be a pastor who is an entrepreneur. Hence I'm known as the Entrepreneurial Pastor. The people I'm primarily connect with are Christians who have three things in common.

1. They all love Jesus

2. They all have personal testimonies

3. They all understand what it means to disciple others

These three things alone have created a movement among Christians who share their testimonies on their own .WS websites. For the most part many of these folks are not business people. They simply know they have a story to share and we just provide them a platform to do it.

Using the internet for business nothing new. Sharing testimonies is nothing new. What is new is the movement we've created for the sole purpose of getting One Million Christian testimonies online via .WS websites. The folks we're connecting with are fired up to tell their stories.

Here's the clincher. They don't show up because they can make money by selling website packages. They show up because they genuinely want to share their stories and join a movement of people who are doing the same thing.

Now when these folks do find out that that they can be compensated for helping people get their own website packages, things get pretty exciting. Some of them didn't even have a clue they were receiving income because their motivation was just to share their story and help others share their stories.

What's so cool about this whole journey is, for years I've heard that "stories sell and facts tell." I am literally finding this to be true in a serious way because all we do is encourage people to share their stories. Those who are in business are really getting the big picture. They all have websites and everything that comes with them but most of them don't pay 50% of the revenue back to the affiliates.

We're onto something pretty special. It's call the Winning Souls Campaign. winningsouls.ws and we're helping Christian who love Jesus share their testimonies on their own .WS websites and empowering them to help others do the same. Plus we're teaching them to profit by helping others get their own websites.

Simple, Simple, Simple....

23. Congruent With The Mission
When it comes to making things work in business we just learn what it takes to get things done and we get to work. Simple. When it comes to ministry generally we try to keep the two separate. Why? I can only imagine that the focus of profiting in business offers too much opportunity for distraction from the mission of ministry.

Now the thing that gets me is ministries need finances but are sometimes unwilling to do what it takes to get the funds they need. I can understand the different fundraising opportunities that come their direction that have nothing to do with their mission. That I get.

Here's something I think most fundraisers don't understand. Ministry is different from most other non profit groups. Most non profit groups have a cause they promote that in most cases a particular product offering might fit in well with what their cause is.

In the case of ministries, their focus for the most part is seeing people ultimately come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. So promoting a product offering often doesn't fit because it has nothing to do with leading somebody to Jesus. Do keep in mind I'm being pretty general here.

I said to myself one day, "if there was ever a product I could offer that helped churches and ministries stay focused on their mission of seeing souls saved, I would promote it." As I've looked around, it's been hard coming up with one.

We've looked at health care products, grocery programs, prepaid legal services, insurance, and even the all in one deals that offer everything under the sun. They are all good programs but they lean so heavily on their offering and business opportunity that in my opinion, they just become distractions to the mission of the church or ministry.

Something we discovered completely by divine providence was a company that offered website packages. Now website packages are nothing new. This company's offering they way it was presented would be no different than the other offerings to help raise funds. The difference was the ability to customize the way we used the websites.

Here's where things got extremely exciting, especially for the skeptics of business in the church. We took what congregants were already doing and brought it onto the internet.

Here's what we discovered: They all loved Jesus, They all had testimonies to share and They all understood the meaning of discipleship. All we did was help them put their testimonies online and help then help others to do the same thing.

The component they found it hard to believe was the church and it's members being compensated just for helping people get their own website packages and helping them put their testimonies on their own websites.

Finally, something that didn't take the focus off of the primary purpose of the ministry. Sharing testimonies on websites and helping others do the same has never been so exhilarating. Getting compensated isn't bad either.

24. How I Turned a Business Into a Ministry
Listen, I want to get right to what I have done. I am not going to share with you my background. You can find that out by going to Google. Here is what I will be doing though. I will be sharing pertinent information that will help you understand how we have turned a business into a ministry. I will be sharing the name of company, campaign and websites that we have used to turn a business into a ministry. All I ask of you is to read the whole blog before you jump to conclusions.

Here We Go!

1.) The Company - Global Domains International aka GDI, Website.ws and Worldsite.ws

2.) The Campaign - Winning Souls aka WinningSouls.ws - An awareness campaign among Christians about the importance of winning souls. Empowering believers to evangelize everywhere everyday via the internet

3.) The Problem - Christian sharing their faith publicly

4.) The Solution - Identifying those Christians who truly love Jesus, willing to share their testimonies and also willing to help others who love Jesus share their testimonies.

5.) The Business Side - GDI offers an affiliate program where people sell website packages for $10 per month. The affiliate program has a 5 layer multi level structure. Participants can sell as many website packages personally as their skill will allow. They can also recruit and build teams of people and get paid up to 5 layers deep in the pay structure. The pay out is $1 per website package paid for monthly from every person in the 5 layer muti level pay structure.

Example: You sell 5 website packages and those 5 sell 5 website packages each ad so on for 5 layers deep could potentially earn you $3,905 if every purchaser continued to pay $10 per month for their website packages. In a nutshell, people get paid on their own efforts and the efforts of others. (more details @ cedreynolds.ws )

6.) The Ministry Side - Pastors like me around the world are dreaming of ways to get their congregation members to share their faith more consistently. We have come up with a plan that fits their situation rather they participate in our campaign or not. We created a ministry based on one person who decided to share their testimony on their own .WS websiteite. They found it to be a simple way to evangelize everywhere everyday via the internet. They also began to share the concept of sharing testimonies on .WS websites with a few people they knew. They also caught on and shared their testimony.

Here's what was discovered. All the Christians we have talked with love Jesus. All the Christians we have talked with have a testimony to share. We just help them do it on their own .WS website. The majority (I can't say all) of the Christians we have talked to don't mind helping others who love Jesus share their testimonies on their own .WS websites.

7.) Business to Ministry - Now that we have Christians who love Jesus sharing their testimonies and helping others who love Jesus share their testimonies, we are building a team of people who are paying for their .WS websites every month. If they were just paying for their websites, this would be a wonderful business that pays pretty good. But because we have people who are purposefully using their websites to share their testimonies and help others share their testimonies, we have a ministry that pays.

Personal ministries have been created simply because one person started sharing their testimony and got a few others to do the same. Now because others are following the example, people are being compensated for helping others share their testimonies on a .WS website.

8.) Best Practice - Focus on helping people tell their story about Jesus online

25. Real Life Better Than Reality Show
One of the biggest crazes today is Reality Shows. People are basically opening up their entire lives telling and showing the world how they live. What's so strange to me is that the way that most of these people live is nothing to admire or pattern our lives after.

The word of God speaks about the life of believers in Revelation 12:11 "how we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony" (paraphrase). It's talking about overcoming and not airing our inadequacies and short comings to the world.

I am thoroughly convinced that believers have far better stories to tell than folks of the world no matter if they are on television or just plain folks living their lives. Our initial testimony of how we came to know Jesus is the beginning of our story. What makes each of our stories unique is all of them are completely different even though we are connected to the same Savior.

Listen, I not only want to encourage you to think about the power of your testimony more frequently, I want to challenge you to share it more purposefully. We have every reason to share with others how we overcome.

Below is a short tutorial on how to put together your testimony. It can be longer but a 2-5 minute testimony can really have an impact on somebody's life.

Formatting Your 2 to 5 Minute Testimony

Pre-Salvation

1. Take about 30 to 90 seconds talking about where you were born, grew up, your family life and a couple of distinguishing truths about your past before being saved.

Salvation

2. Take another 30 to 60 seconds describing how you came to know Jesus and the circumstances.

Post Salvation

3. Spend about 30 to 90 seconds describing what the Lord has done in your life and how you're living now. Could include family life, personal deliverance, ministry, employment, financial etc...

Invitation

4. Spend the last 30 to 60 seconds inquiring of the reader/listener and invite them to accept the claims of the Bible (if they are a non believer) or challenge them to share their testimony the same way you're sharing yours (if they are a believer).

Stay Blessed,

Pastor Cedric

26. Not Knowing Can Cost You
One of the things I have always desired to do as a pastor is help people come into their own in reference to their personal ministries. The challenge that most of the people I've connected with is not a lack of passion for ministry but of lack of money to accomplish the vision the Lord gave them. Many of them take on second jobs or start businesses only to discover that the jobs and businesses take so much of their time they have limited time for ministry. But what's a person to do? They need the money and they need the time but somehow they can't seem to have both.

I have often thought there must be a way where believers can do the work of the ministry without compromise. To be in a position of having the time and money to function in their calling without compromise. As like many pastors I know, I've been approached about every kind of business opportunity you can think of. The majority of them promise to help the church and the ministries of the church financially. The only challenge with them is they generally are so time consuming that the ministers begin to lose focus and ministry is soon taking a back seat.

So I began seeking the Lord and my prayer was, "Lord show me a way to help stay focused on ministry while allowing me to earn additional income to support my ministry." The thought was that if the Lord could show me something, I could show it to others. And of course you know the Lord came through! If you've been following me for any length of time, you know I promote a campaign called WinningSouls.WS where we help believers use .WS websites to promote their testimonies. What most people don't know is the .WS websites are part of a company that offers an affiliate program. In this affiliate program they pay $1 per website that people secure from the affiliates.

The cool part about our Winning Souls Campaign is everybody who shares their testimony on a .WS website is automatically an affiliate of Global Domains International. GDI pays each person who helps others get their own websites. They don't care what the websites are used for. They are in the business of selling websites. All we have done is use the websites to promote the gospel via the testimonies of believers. What a phenomenal way to spread the good news of Jesus than through our testimonies and be paid on top of it.

Now, a lot of people write off the potential of earning a significant income with GDI's websites. Well, they soon rethink that once they're part of our campaign. One of the key components of our Winning Souls Campaign is discipleship. We simply want to see people help people put their testimonies on their own websites. We encourage people to do it over and over again. What GDI does, is compensate these folks through 5 generations of people who are helped.

Here's an idea of what a bunch of testimonies on websites could generate in the form of income from $10 per month website packages:

Let's say you helped 5 people get their websites and you helped them put their testimonies online. You would earn $5 every month as each of them pays $10 to keep their websites live on the internet.

Now, here's where it gets more exciting. If those 5 people you helped were to help 5 people apiece, that would be 25 people now with websites and their testimonies online. When this occurs, you earn an additional $25 per month for as long as they pay $10 per month to keep their websites live on the internet. You earn $5 + $25 = $30 per month. Your website is free for life at this point plus you have money to spare.

I'll show you one more level of progression. When those 25 folks each go and find 5 people apiece to share their testimonies on their own .WS websites, there are now 125 new people who have their own websites. You now earn an additional $125 per month just because these folks pay $10 per month to keep their websites live on the internet. Your monthly earnings have increased to $5 + $25 + $125 = $155 per month.

As this process continues through 5 generations of active website users, you have the potential to earn $3,905 per month passive income for as long as these believers chose to share their testimonies online on their own .WS websites.

The Lord has been gracious to us to make a platform available to believers to spread the good news of the gospel through our testimonies. On top of that, we can stay focused on our ministries once our testimonies are established online. Just to be perfectly clear, "we don't get paid to share our testimonies online." We get paid for helping people secure their own .WS websites from Global Domains International who pays all their affiliates for helping people secure their own .WS websites.

Let me close by saying this. I rarely post the income potential of the affiliate program of GDI. I am honestly not interested in people just joining our campaign to earn additional income. That's why you see Winning Souls out front in our promotion.

What I have shared with you is just the tip of the iceberg. Imagine with me for a minute having testimonies in 180 countries around the world. Imagine churches offering these websites to their congregations to share their testimonies. Imagine the believers from various people groups like Nigerians Winning Souls, Kenyans Winning Souls, African Americans Winning Souls, Hispanics Winning Souls, College Students Winning Souls, Married Couple Winning Souls, College Athletes Winning Souls... 27. Internet Evangelism Website Ministry Debate

Time to address the internet evangelism website ministry debate. For years we have been hearing you can only ride one horse at a time, you can only drive one car at a time, it is impossible to chase two rabbits at the same time You know the deal. I was one to believe it for a long time. But I still wonder why so many people continue to desire to do online ministry. I can only imagine they like the idea of having more options should things change with one ministry assignment.

The people I have studied in the high income ranks are people like Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Kiyosaki, Martha Stewart, Warren Buffett, Magic Johnson and a host of business owners in various areas of business. All of these folks have multiple streams of income. Oh, they may not have started that way but somehow they have ended up doing very good in a variety of areas. Personally I do not think it was completely by accident. Imagine any of these people not taking advantage of the opportunities that have come their way in their business lifetime. None of them would probably be the moguls we know them to be today.

Why is it okay to have multiple businesses and not online ministries? The website world has brought a degree of participation in global ministry to more ministers than we can imagine. We are definitely in a different age. The internet has changed the game so much that the average person can do what once was set up for the super successful.

But where does this fit in where we live? You know folks like you and me People who have been chasing ministry dreams for years and years. Can we really work website ministries at the same time? Sure we can. Especially with God on our side. If we put our minds to anything, we can do it. All it takes is desire and a well executed plan. On top of that, because our assignments are for the Kingdom of God, we will have a greater impact.

Begin to look at your life and see where you have come so far. Today the internet is and will be a component of most people's lives no matter what. No matter what our station is in life today, somehow the internet is connected to at least the leadership we're connected with.

28. Coke And The Church Both Have Evangelism Ideas
Hello again,

Something tells me that Coca Cola is getting it right about getting their brand in front of people. For as long as I have been living, I have recognized Coke as the premier soft drink in the world. It sort of like a bunch of Church Evangelism Ideas for a business. Coke has spread the word about themselves through their own Coke Evangelism Ideas everywhere. On television, on radio, on billboards, in newspapers, magazines, the internet and everywhere else you can think of, Coke has gone to every length to make sure we don't forget them.

I can imagine by now that you know I am going to talk about how the Christian Church might be able to learn a thing or two from Coke regarding evangelism. Now Coke certainly has a message but it certainly does not compare the the message of the Kingdom of God. Let me stay on the subject of evangelism. It is simply spreading the word about what one believes by all means necessary.

The message of the Kingdom of God can be spread by all those who have named the name of Jesus as Lord and Savior. It is so simple. All one has to do is open their mouth and start sharing what the Lord has done for them. There is nothing more powerful that every Christian possesses than their personal testimony. The story of what the Lord has done and is doing in their life can be so compelling. So why is it that more Christians fail to share their story? The answer is simple. FEAR! Plain and simple, fear has paralyzed many people from sharing great things but sharing the story of what the King of Kings has done in our lives should never be something we choose not to share.

So what kind of solution is there to make it easier for believers to share their testimonies? Is there something that everybody could utilize to help them get their story out? The answer in short, is YES. What if believers could be trained to put their stories on the internet in a format that they could do on their own? What if it only took getting some simple instructions to get it done? Do you think most believers would do it? Well, I am sad to say, most will still not do it. This is just the nature of humans. No matter what they say they believe.

Here is some good news though. There are a group of Entrepreneurial Minded Believers who have decided to press the envelop and utilize the internet to share their stories. They have done it via websites, blogs, profiles, squeeze pages, splash pages and various other means. These folks have just made up their minds that if Coke can use the internet to evangelize, so can they. The internet has leveled the playing field. Today anybody can get a free website, blog or profile page and put their testimony on a page. Church Evangelism Ideas have certainly stepped up. I am looking forward to seeing thousands if not hundreds of thousands of believers embracing this idea. It is that simple. You can do this.

29. Chase Your Dream and Don't Quit
Discovering what it really takes to make it online has been quite a journey. Back in 1999 I started tinkering around with the internet and stumbled across my first affiliate program. I didn't even know what email was. Oh, I had heard the name but I really had no clue what it was. But here I was trying an affiliate program only to discover they were talking a language I didn't know.

Tinkering went to getting educated which led to actually doing the stuff I was learning. Little did I know how frustrating I would get from trying to implement the things I was learning. It was like being in school all over again. There I was, doing all the right things and as soon as I started getting results (after much trial and error), the game changed. That's right the way to market on the internet changed.

What I would find out later in my online endeavors was that the internet game would forever be changing. I putted around for about two years and decided to give it a rest after just getting totally fed up with the ups and downs.

Here's something I learned when I was involved in sales earlier in my life. "Don't Quit!" I really thought internet marketing would be different. I never imagined the learning curve would be so steep. For me it was extremely deep.

Now comes 2006 and I decide that in order to make it in the online marketing arena, I would have to stick to it no matter what it took. I was determined to succeed. So since 2006, I have been plugging away. I have even come to a place where I teach others what used to be "another language" to me. It's that amazing.

Today I'm still working online. Things are every changing but this time I am changing with the changes. What's so interesting this time around is my attitude is far better off than it was for that two year stint that started in 1999.

Here's the real deal. What I discovered was that "it takes whatever it takes to make it on the internet just like it takes whatever it takes to make it in anything." It's just a matter of staying in the game long enough to succeed. What I noticed was that even some of the people I helped get started marketing online, never quit. In fact, they passed me up in every area, including financially.

So here I am, still in the game with more knowledge and yes, making more money than I was back in 1999. My only wish is that I would have never quit. But, I did. All I can say is my intention is to stay connected, keep learning and keep earning.

30. Why Prospect Bypass Your Opt In Page
Here's a question for you. Would you fill out a contact form (name, email and phone number) in a store just to browse around? Chances are you wouldn't. The reality is we don't even expect to do something like that. The businesses where I have filled out a contact form have been places where I have chosen to do business and was perhaps led there by there advertising. They invested in me before I invested in them.

Come on online marketers, how much are we really investing in people before we ask them for their contact info? I know I've been guilty. What about you? I know a tailor who has clients who visit his store and spend thousands of dollars and he doesn't pressure them to get the contact info. He gets it all the time because of how meticulous he is when he is serving them to earn their business. In fact they generally offer referrals in the process just because they feel as though the only way their friends can get in this new club (The Tailor's Club) is with their help. Now that's positive peer pressure in a big and profitable way.

Here's where I'm taking this article. What if we helped people feel as though they were so special that they were joining our "club" of sorts and they would be doing their friends a favor by passing their names on to us. That would be awesome. Of course things to work that easy in real life. The internet is really a different animal. It's constantly changing. The reason is because the people (our prospects) are growing more savvy everyday and beating us at our own game.

Folks who use the internet fairly regularly know the tricks and the traps. They know "opting in" to receive info means possibly being bombarded with info they don't want. The ones who decide to play the game, use "junk email addresses" to get what they want and leave us thinking that our list has just been added to. The truth is because of the bombardment and lack of understanding by marketers, our prospects have just done what comes natural, "SURVIVING".

So what do we do to earn the trust of potential prospects so they do opt in to our lists? You guessed it. It's time to give more that we've given in the past. People respond to being appreciated and thought of as intelligent. So no more of this bombardment of spam and senseless mumbo jumbo. The strategy is simple. Just observe how brick and mortar stores and businesses that operate at trade shows. They offer conversation. They offer samples. They offer intelligent answers to intelligent questions. They even offer kind words about their fiercest competitor. We could learn something here. After all of the service to earn respect, they ask not for an order all the time but contact information to provide additional benefits, facts and features or their offering. The prospect has just agreed to opt in. Get it?

What we can do in our arena is a little bit different but it can produce a similar response. An "Optional Opt In" process. When a prospect arrives at our splash page, let them feel comfortable enough to choose to opt in or not. It shows them that we're not starving for them to be on our list. After all they can keep on surfing so easily on the internet at the blink of an eye. How about this for being bold, "those who choose not to opt in can be given the same opportunity as those who choose to opt in. They would be able to view the same additional information that those who opt in are able to view. Of course at some point there has to be a time where our prospect makes a quality decision to say yes, I want to opt in or no, I don't want to opt in. All we can do is put the information in front of them. One caveat that that could be considered would be to encourage the prospect to opt in would be to give a special offer of significant value if they choose to opt in.

Long story short, we are in a season of savvy consumers who understand the tricks of marketers. They are tired of playing games. Let's give them what they want and perhaps we'll get what we want as well.

31. Why You Need Multiple Streams of Income
Let's tackle the multiple streams of income debate. For years we've been hearing "you can only ride one horse at a time", "you can only drive one car at a time", "you can't chase two rabbits at the same time"... You know the deal. I was one to believe it for a long time. But I have always wondered why so many people continue to desire multiple streams of income. I can only imagine they like the idea of having more options should things change with one stream of income.

The people I've studied in the entrepreneurial ranks are people like Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Kiyosaki, Martha Stewart, Warren Buffett, Magic Johnson and a host of professionals in various areas of business. All of these folks have multiple streams of income. Oh, they may not have started that way but somehow they have ended up doing very good in a variety of areas. Personally I don't think it was completely by accident. Imagine any of these people not taking advantage of the opportunities that have come their way in their business lifetime. Non of them would probably be the moguls we know them to be today.

But where does this fit in where we live? I'm talking about normal everyday people like you and me. People who have been chasing the American dream for years and years. Can we really work multiple businesses or projects at the same time? I am of the opinion that any of the above mentioned moguls can do it, so can we. Just think for a moment. If we take advantage of the opportunities that come across our pathway and maximize them one by one as they have, we can do pretty good.

I have a tip to give you pertaining to online marketers who desire to work multiple businesses and receive multiple streams of income. It's a short audio that I think you'll enjoy Audio Link

32. Best Of The Online After Market Offerings
When it comes to getting exposure on the internet, we all know it's all about traffic. No matter what you are promoting, traffic is a necessary ingredient if there is any expectation of success. The key is getting the right traffic.

Let me give you a simple example. A professional basketball team is looking for a top notch shooting guard so they put the word out to those who will hear it in the professional basketball ranks, not the Jr. High School ranks. They simply pique the interest of professional basketball players who fit the bill. The reason those who qualify even show an interest is because they know the team who put the word out can deliver a fair compensation package and accommodate perhaps some of their other wishes.

In the example above, agents, coaches, friends of top notch shooting guards help spread the word on behalf of their interest in their friend for the most part not the basketball team looking for the particular talent. Does this scenario sound familiar? I hope it does. It's a recruiting example.

In the online marketing arena, we might want to take a page out of the sports world when it comes to recruiting. In our case the place where we find the recruits, the partners, the customers and clients we're looking for are in Traffic Exchanges. There, I said it. Traffic Exchanges are one of the key places to locate talent for your team. If you study Traffic Exchanges, you'll discover where certain niche marketers hang out. You'll want to choose a place where your best potential candidates are because many of them are just on the verge of making new decisions. Many of them have acquired certain skills and they are now ready to team up with a professional like you.

There really is no art to being in the right Traffic Exchange. It's as simple as knowing where you are going in your automobile. We know where the traffic is. We know which freeways to avoid. We know the highways which have the best traffic flow. That's how simple Traffic Exchanges are. Do your homework before you enter a Traffic Exchange. Know what you're getting into. Be where you want to be on purpose and not just out for a joy ride.

As I close this article, I want to bring something to your attention. You may very well be aware that in the beginning stages of an industry that is transforming the world, there a few visionaries who see the big picture and experience tremendous success. Today I believe you are reading this article because you are one of them. You didn't show up here by accident. In fact, I believe you have landed here by divine providence. Listen to this. If you could have been engaged in the design of the first freeways, you could have made a fortune on the after market offerings. The mere fact that you know where the freeways were headed would have given you enough information to target certain segments of society who would want to capitalize on future markets. Well, you probably weren't around when freeways were designed but you are around now. Today the Internet Super Highway is the new freeway. Today the new after market offerings are most everything related to internet marketing. I'll leave you with this one phrase. The Surf Biz is one of the best after market offerings since the inception of the internet.

33. Entreprneurial Believers Are In a New Season

The Season of the Christian Entrepreneur is Here

There are so many believers who have chosen to be bold about their faith as they have promoted their businesses. It's no wonder the Lord is blessing them in a big way. My role in this process is empowering entrepreneurial believers to evangelize everywhere everyday. This not only includes spreading the good news of the Kingdom of God, it also includes teaching believer to profit on and offline.

Some people think I've found a niche market that fits me so well. The truth is entrepreneurs need pastors who understand them just like other laymen in church. My congregation just happens to be all over the world and I connect with the majority of them online. Most of them don't know me personally. Most of them only hear my audios, see my videos and read my content. It is definitely a changing world.

The season of the Christian Entrepreneur is definitely here. I do hope that if you're a Christian Entrepreneur, you are taking your assignment seriously. There has never been a time when the message of God's goodness could be spread to a lost and dying world so quickly. Who would have thought that connecting with people who initially connect with us for the products and services we promote would also get to receive the message of the Kingdom of God. This is truly an amazing season where the Lord is being glorified beyond the 4 walls of our churches. We are connecting with clients, vendors, other business owners and we're touching the hearts of people all over the world because of the internet. What better time to be engaged in business.

Business is no longer the same. It's more and more about relationships being developed and the purchasing of products and services is a side benefit of knowing the people we have relationship with.

34. Life In The Fastest Lane
Life in the fast lane has never made more sense than it does today. We're living life in the fastest lane of all time today. The internet is not something to joke about or play around with. It is more than a superhighway. It's more than a place to get info. It's emerging as the workplace a great majority of the readers of this article will spend their time now and for years to come.

You probably never imagined being in a place like you are today to see a change take place right in front of your eyes. The internet has changed the economic future our children and us. We who have invested any time working on the internet in the last 7-10 years have created a value in the knowledge we have acquired. Believe it or not, your skill level will be sought after by those trying to break into this phenomenal way of life. The internet is not just for the rich and famous. In fact the rich and famous now have to seek the services of people like you and I to be effectively engaged in the game called "Branding" on the internet.

While most of us struggled for months and years learning the ins and outs of the internet, payday has shown up. Don't think it strange when people think you know so much about the internet and how to market on the internet. Most people who use the internet as a consumer don't study the side where we operate. So to them it is completely foreign.

Life in The Fastest Lane is for those who know how to operate. Will you be an operator during this season of profit on the internet? It's your time. If you can't answer yes, it's time you start learning how to take advantage of the knowledge you already possess.

Some people have the knowledge to help others but they just don't know what to do to attract those people. That's where I come in.

35. Don't Stop Doing What You Love
"Stop doing what you love and you'll stop living on purpose."

It is a true joy to do what you love and get paid for it. I never thought my simple quotes and short articles would ever make me any money. I just did it just because I knew I had something to say and there were at least a few people who wanted to hear what I had to say. Today I am amazed at the response I get from people all over the world who respond to my articles and short quotes.

Just a few short years ago, I thought about giving up writing and posting on the internet. I have since learned that would have been a big mistake. I mean a really big mistake. I never knew that simple words of encouragement could do so much for a person. People have actually joined me in business just because they wanted to have greater access to the words that I knew I would be someday be writing.

Most of us have something special to offer to a group of people who like our offering more than we know. It may be your writing, it may be the way you post photos, it may be the responses you make to the posts of others, it may be your video postings on You Tube or it may even be what you share on a podcast. My advice to you is to discover what it is that people love about you and use it as a platform to give more people access into your world.

The internet has made it possible for most anybody who has an audience of any size to communicate with them in a professional manner and serve them consistently. Have you been hunting for that special thing you have? The way I discovered my niche was mysteriously after I stopped for a season. I stopped writing articles, stopped posting in social media platforms, stopped my podcast and stopped my video postings. What I discovered was when I reviewed the comments people had made, there were several who clung on every word and I noticed they were the same ones over and over in the various media where I shared my heart.

That's why I say if you "stop doing what you love, you'll stop living on purpose." We all have a purpose and it most often means we share it with others who need us to do what we do because they get blessed when we do it.

Keep on doing what you love,

Ced Reynolds

Learn Do and Teach and Keep On Learning Doing and Teaching

Learn Do Teach Audio Clip

It is the people who have the most influence in life that get the most accomplished. At least that should be the case. There are positive influential people and negative influential people. That is why it is so important to learn the right things from the right people.

You and I know that you the responsibility of giving back is personal decision. It is not something that all business owners do on purpose but it is something that most who understand true leadership. More and more entrepreneurs are not only learning to give back but to practice it "religiously."

This day of multi talented people could lead many to think that ones personal talent is enough to help them succeed. Nothing could be further from the truth. Talent alone might be enough for a person to get to the top but it will never be enough to to keep us there. Please understand me, I am not down playing talent. I simply mean the truly talented who do make it to any level of perceived success "get how important it is to learn and keep on learning, do and keep on doing and teach and keep on teaching."

Here's a point you'll want to consider as a tip of the day. Learn how to sharpen your already existing skills. Tip two would be, learn new skills and keep sharpening them. These two tips have help me immensely as I have traveled on my journey as an entrepreneur and a pastor.

37. The Teaching Stage

The Teaching Stage Audio Clip

Okay, we've made it to the teaching stage. You've discovered it's going to take ongoing learning. It's going to take ongoing doing. Now as you might imagine it's going to take ongoing teaching.

Teaching in the area of the internet and network marketing is something that leaders do. Does that make you a leader? The answer is yes. You are a leader because you have influenced people to to learn what you know and to do what you do. Teaching in our case is simply utilizing the information we've learned and are doing.

Most of you probably never thought of yourself as a teacher. Even though I am a pastor and I teach people the word of God, I never really saw myself as a teacher on the internet and in network marketing. But the truth is I've always had this desire to learn and to do what I learn. It just naturally lead to teaching.

It's always been my heart to help people in their entrepreneurial endeavors. Believe me it's not really that tough finding students. It's not something you should ever worry about. "When the student is ready the teacher will appear." Get ready to teach until your heart is content. Remember all we do is learn, do and teach and help others to become teachers along the way.

I will see you around on the internet.

38. The Doing Stage

The Doing Stage Audio Clip

It makes perfect sense that if we learn the right things and do the things we learn, success is inevitable. Well that is partly true. Doing what we learn the right way is the difference. That's why we have to take the time to do what we learn in the right sequence.

You probably would agree with me that the order in which things are done in business is important just as the order in which ingredients are added to bake a cake. Often it's just a few simple things that separate the successful online marketers from those who keep hitting their heads against the wall. I hear people say, "I'm doing all the right things but it's not working." They very well may be doing all the right things but if just one thing is out of order, they will not get maximum results. If you trust me in any way, trust me here. I know from my own personal experience of doing all the right stuff in the wrong sequence.

The doing stage is such a great stage because here is where we begin to expect to see results. When we apply what we learn and see results, it's always a good thing. But to do and do and do and do some more and see nothing that resembles success is flat out frustrating.

Here's the best tip I can give you in today's article, "do what you learn with a coach." You might not believe it but a coach will see things that you won't see. And the sooner you can get things corrected, the better off you'll be in your journey to internet success

39. The Learning Stage

The Learning Stage

When most of us entrepreneurial minded believers put our minds to it, we can accomplish anything. It is not always easy but accomplishment rarely escapes us when we have decided to be victorious.

Learning how to profit is no different, even if it is on the internet.

Let's face it, the things we have become go at are the things we have taken the time to learn all the ins and outs. Even those who have a particular skill where things come easy, many are often drawn to acquiring more education relating to their skill. Learning how to profit is no different.

The learning stage might sound like a place we visit in the beginning of our education. The truth of the matter is we are always in the learning stage. Some of us learn visually, some learn audibly and some of us learn in a combination of the two. As we discover our learning style, it's up to us to get the info we are craving to become master of the area we desire to conquer.

40. Teach Me To Profit (audio included)
Somehow there are those who profit in their business dealings and there are others who just barely get by. Why so? We know that education is big component in establishing ourselves as being credible in any profession. Yet there are a percentage who get the same education but never seem to achieve their desired goals.

Learning to do and live well in life and business comes from our will being in line the with will of God for our lives. It is God's will that we prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper. (III John 2). Note, the key is prosperous living and prosperous health, only as our souls prosper. So getting the right content in our souls is the key. The Word of God is the content we are talking about here.

With our souls being right with God and the continued feeding our souls with the Word of God not only will we see profit in our spiritual lives, we can begin to see profit in our financial and business dealings as well. The Word of God speaks to the area of profit in Isaiah 48:17. It says, I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit..." Because God is no respecter of persons, this could very well apply to your situation according to what you really believe.

If God is willing to teach us to profit, we should be willing to learn. We should be willing to do what He says and we should be willing to teach others.

If you really want to learn how to profit, click here to hear a short audio clip on the Learning Stage.

41. Getting A Business Education Online is Like a Game
Getting a Business Education Online is Like a Game

There are so many of us who had no clue about working online. If you're like me, I initially got online just to have fun and connect with friends and meet new folks with similar interests. When I finally looked around I was being educated at the most unexpected moments. Boy has it been fun. During the fun process I have learned so many things about working online.

One of the greatest things is that I will never know it all. Working online will be an ongoing process. Believe me, it settles my nerves in a big way because I'm a perfectionist and I want to know things yesterday. The good thing about working online is that you can always log on and find out pretty much anything you want to know. Another joy is most of it's for free if you know where to look. Learning to find the free education is a learning process in itself. Lastly as I finish up here, the best thing I have learned is how to actually find people who are looking for me. What I mean is that are tons of people interested in what I offer through my business and I have learned various methods of helping them find me. It's a lot faster than off line because there are so many people who congregate online in the same places expressing the same concerns. All I do is use the tools I've picked up online which help people realize they have been looking for me when our paths cross. It's not that much different than a person who goes into a retail store looking for a specific item.

The great thing about the internet is the people who finally find you are already convinced they want to connect with you because they have had a chance to do their own due diligence. Here's a hint. The more we help them do their due diligence, the easier it will be to finally connect us. It's not necessary to be known all over the internet. But it is important to be known in the places where the people looking for you can find out about you. Believe me, people talk and when you get them talking about you in a good way, you've done your job. Stay in the internet game and you'll get used to winning.

42. What Most People Don't Know About Me
What many people don't know about me is I work with kidz teaching how to do business from a Kingdom perspective. We have just entered into our fourth year and we've boosted the program to be more online oriented. Kidz-n-Biz helps kidz from 3rd to 8th start their own businesses. Many of them do business online. They have their own websites. Several of them, even after the program keep their businesses and pursue their dreams with the information we've taught them.

I don't want to take all of your time in this short letter. I would like to invite you to visit the Kidz-n-Biz Blog between now and the next two weeks and see what we're up to. I think you will be amazed at what the kidz are learning and more than that, the businesses they've chosen to start.

OneX Has Changed The Game

So many believers are praying for financial breakthrough. One of the keys is making a move when the right opportunity shows up. Sometimes it is really tough to recognize the right opportunity though.

One of the easiest opportunities to get involved with in the information distribution business. The internet has made it so easy. Most of the time people only want to be able to have access to the information rather that receiving it in the mail where they have to pay for shipping. Online documents, e-books, PDF's and the like are as easy to get as clicking a mouse.

One new opportunity has sprung up from a company called QLxchange. Quantum Leap Xchange offers an array of products and services from gold and silver to lessons on how to start a business. So here you have a company which provides products that are shipped to you as well as online products you can save to your hard drive.

As an Entrepreneurial Minister you might want to consider looking at QLxchange's daughter company OneX. OneX offers great online lessons for for entrepreneurial minded individuals starting at $5. In fact, many of the representatives actually use the lessons as a free offering to folks who take a look at their primary business.

Here's a point to look for. If a company offers something, the question is do they deliver. In my on situation I can say OneX has delivered. I have ordered 3 different online lessons and have been pleased with each purchase. To tell you the truth I was a little surprised how helpful the material was.

If you are looking for a home based ministry compensation idea, OneX is definitely worth considering. If you are bold enough to call me or send me an email I might just consider purchasing or having one of our team members purchase your first lesson for you.

44. Are Ministers Playing Catch Up?
It is simple a pie. Get with the program or get left behind. The leading of the Holy Spirit is not just happening within the church walls. One of the greatest common needs of people is staring churchmen right in the face and very little is being done about it. At least from my perspective. I not only call myself an entrepreneurial pastor, I am in fact just that. My efforts are to bring prosperity to the whole man, spirit, soul and body.

Today ministry is so much different. It is not just preaching and teaching the word of God. It is preaching, teaching and training people to live holy productive personal lives on all levels.

Have you ever wondered why people are not attracted to the church? They are looking to meet their own personal needs first, as they naturally should. The church is so focused on the spiritual that I believe we sometimes forget that Jesus often met the personal needs of people first before He connected with them on a spiritual note. My point is even though we see ministry changing in these tough times, Jesus was doing what we ought to be doing today. It must have been just as tough in His day. So are we really playing catch up or should we be going back to the way things used to be? I think the latter.

Just had a few thoughts to share. Hope you find yourself ministering the way Jesus did and wants us to minister. We are living in a great era that gives us a chance to make a mark in this world for the Kingdom that will not be erased.

Stay blessed.

45. More Funds Sharing Profits with International Nutritional Company

It doesnÂ’t take a rocket scientist to realize many Small Non Profits have been challenged during these tough economic times. They have had to make some serious adjustments to continue with their specific causes. The big question is whatÂ’s an organization to do?

Some of these groups have tried to double up on their fundraising efforts to no avail. They donÂ’t have the able bodies available because the very ones who helped the non profits are looking for new and better employment to fund their own lives. Non Profit Fundraising is without a doubt changing in major ways. Those groups who consider themselves to be more savvy have turned to the internet. The big challenge is the learning curve for most Home Based Businesses. Navigating the internet as a consumer is far easier than being the one looking to engage others in your cause.

It seems to make no difference which industry these groups come from, the fact of the matter is internet marketing can be a daunting task especially if you’re new at it. With Small Charitable Organizations for instance, their board of directors might decide they need a professional internet consultant. This might very well be true. But not knowing much about the industry puts them at a disadvantage because there are so many who call themselves “guru’s” of sorts. They could end up in a bigger financial mess before they raise one red cent.

Believe it or not there are large organizations who want to help. Just recently International Nutrition Company – GBG (Guided By God) has stepped up to the plate and decided to share it’s profits with Home Based Businesses and Ministries among multitudes of other cause related groups which are small and in need financially.

GBG has made a commitment to share 11% of their company profits to qualified groups based on certain qualifications. They have made the qualifications fairly easy and any group which has an active constituency should be able to meet the initial qualification. As a Health and Wellness Company, GBG is partnering with groups which have a commitment to “healthy living.”

With GBG’s Fundraising Program, there are no start up costs or monthly fees – it is FREE!

Members are purchasing high quality, below wholesale priced health products!

Members purchase these products each month, improving their health!

The organization gets paid a percentage of each sale within its group every month!

Minimal effort by each member can result in amazing success!

There is no inventory to keepÂ….the customer is shipped their product and the group receives a check!

The Best Part about GBGÂ’s Fundraising Program is the organization receives 1% of GBGÂ’s company profits just for referring 25 product users who sign up and continue to receive monthly autoshipments of the product.

Now Small Non Profit Ministries and other groups can concentrate on promoting their cause and be less concerned with raising funds. ItÂ’s to go without question that GBG is doing a noble thing. But the reality is GBG is also promoting their cause among Small Non Profit Organizations and other groups. Simply a stroke of genius. This is definitely a win, win, win proposition. GBG wins, the groups win and the consumers win.

Cause related marketing is not new. It has been being used among large corporations and large Non Profits for years. The good thing about this campaign of GBGÂ’s is the small guy now has a chance to do what they do best with the help of GBG.

46. Healthy Home Based Ministers
When it comes to ministry, we don't often talk about how healthy we have to be. The fact of the matter is we definitely need to be concerned about our health.

I have been taking vitamins and mineral supplements off and on for years. The thing I discovered is I really dislike swallowing pills. I know I'm probably not alone here but it's the truth, I just don't like swallowing pills so that's why I stop taking my vitamins and miineral supplements. The Lord has convicted me to the point I began searching for a way to get proper nutrition in my body. I think I found it! I found a chewable vitamin and mineral supplement that a friend of mine says are great. He's a good friend so I jumped at the chance to get some to get this monkey off my back about not taking my vitamins and mineral supplements.

The good thing about these supplements is they are comprised of 10 super formulas in a chewable tablet form and I only have to take one in the morning and one in the afternoon. No more choking down pills, crushing them, splitting them and thank God I'm not going to have to lug a 32 ounce bottle around with me or carry packets of funny tasting gel. These chewable vitamins should do the trick.

When it comes to ministry, I have come to realize I have to be physically fit to serve the Lord, my family and those the Lord assigns me to. It just makes sense to respect my body since God gave it to me. I charge all of us as Home Based Ministers to get the right nutrition in our bodies. We may not all do it the same but it is important to do it.

Stay blessed,

47. Home Based Ministers | Worthy of Their Hire
The idea of doing ministry from home is taking on more and more meaning to churches all over the country. The reason this is happening is because the folks doing ministry from home are not paid, are generally more committed and more available to minister.

For churches, it's like having extended staff members who they can call on to meet the needs of people in a local community. For the community people it is a breath of fresh air to know that they don't have to even go out of their neighborhood to get the spiritual help they are looking for.

While Home Based Ministry is sometimes called Small Group Ministry, much of what the ministers do is not in their own homes. They often meet in public places for counsel such as restaurants, businesses, recreational facilities and the like.

It is just purity of heart and passion of the Home Based Ministers that helps them find facilities to serve the people in need. Bringing people to their homes is often done only after they have gotten to know the people they are serving. Becoming friends and later serving in ministry is one of the most blessed things that happens among Home Based Ministers and those they serve.

Finding facilities, helpers and resources can get costly for ministries that begin to become more well known. Thankfully many of the ministries don't require a lot of finances to operate. It's basic man power (of course led they the Spirit of God) and knowledge of the Bible to help those they serve find their way. The hearts of the leaders cause them to give of their time, talent and treasure to keep things going to bless the people they serve. There are some that begin to need financial assistance simply because of the sheer number of people they are privileged to serve.

One of the overwhelming challenges Home Based Ministers face is the tension between their employment and their ministry. If you were to ask a good majority of them, “Wouldn't you just love to do your ministry full time?” Of course the answer is “yes” but the challenge is how they will survive financially. That challenge is being addressed in many ways. Many of these Home Based Ministers have taken early retirement. Some have chosen to downsize in a big way to afford not having to have their current job. Some have fundraisers or go into some sort of part-time sales opportunity and start backing out of their employment status. Some just go cold turkey, head over heals into their ministry and trust God for the finances they need to operate their homes.

Something that is being tried by more savvy Home Based Ministers is working online from home. They are branding themselves in their particular niche of ministry and letting the world know they are open for ministry. They write articles pertaining to their ministries. They keep daily journals on blogs. They put up websites that focus on what their ministry is all about. They initiate email campaigns to get people subscribed to their Online Newsletter. The internet has literally changed the way certain portions of ministry is done.

Years ago the internet was set on fire with excitement about affiliate programs. There have been multitudes of affiliate programs that people have been involved with. I mention it here because the savvy Home Based Ministers of our day have found a way to maximize using affiliate programs without violating the mission of their ministry.

Here is an example. There is a group of ministers who use .WS (dot WS) websites in a campaign called “Winning Souls.WS”. Interestingly enough, the ministers us the name of their ministry ie; Ministry.WS, TheirMinistry.WS,Anything.WS, to spread awareness of the Winning Souls online via .WS websites. Individuals and other ministers join the campaign utilizing their own .WS website to share their Christian testimonies as part of the campaign and build their websites out to tell all about their ministries.

Here's a group of people who have found a way to take advantage of an affiliate program that has a plan in place which allows the affiliate to get paid for referring friends and associates who get websites. On top of that, the compensation plan is structured to pay affiliates who refer others, who refer others, who refer others through five generations. The potential income is staggering with only a $1 pay out per website package obtained. Just one person who gets 5 and helps those 5 and so on could end up with $3,905 in a month and that's recurring income month after month because the affiliates pay a small fee per month for their website packages.

In the case of the Winning Souls ampaign affiliates, their hope is to get as many websites as possible online with testimonies of believers who are all about Winning Souls. This is the ultimate Home Based Ministry. Just loving Jesus, sharing your on a .WS website and helping others who love Jesus share their testimony on a .WS website are the simple qualifications required to participate.

There is so much that Home Based Ministers can do to get themselves in a position to leave their jobs forever. It could very well be as simple as starting a 7 day free trial and see what they could do to get their ministries online.

48. Home Based Ministry With a Twist
The Call

When I think about when I was called to the ministry, my thoughts take me back to “how great it would be to reach the world for Jesus.” I mean I had huge plans and I was looking to make things happen on a monumental scale. During that time I worked with a secular magazine and eventually decided to launch out and publish my own Christian magazine.

While many of my Christian friends were just pleased to serve the Lord in church, my desires were always to serve the body of Christ at large. Of course I ushered in the church I attended and participated in several different ministry related activities and meetings. Somehow I just didn't seem to get the same satisfaction of serving God in church as I did serving the body of Christ at large.

Reaching out to people who were looking for “more in God” always seemed to appeal to me. This is when I knew I was called of God to serve in a different way than was common among my circle of Christian friends. I had no idea at the time it would evolve into becoming a pastor and eventually an overseer of pastors.

There has been so much I've gone through in my ministry life that I won't go into here but Home Based Ministry has always had a special place in my heart. My initial ministry was developed in my home and my primary ministry today is in my home. Even as I am still the pastor of a traditional church, my heart goes out to those individuals who just don't seem to “fit” in church. What I mean is their hearts are for their local church but their ministry desires go way beyond the church.

A couple of years ago I did some impromptu interviews with 11 people in our congregation only to discover all of them had something special the Lord had given them as a ministry that didn't fit any of the ministry offerings our church had at the time. I wasn't really surprised because these same people were active in ministry in a very faithful way. Certainly God had more for them because of their faithfulness. The call of God is drawing more and more people to minister from their homes.

The Comparison

When I first got called as a pastor, my initial hopes were to become “full time” asap. I mean my mind was made up that their was no way to serve God with significance without being full time. Of course I made it, only to find out that I had been full time all along. It was more a mind set than anything else. The only difference was my income increased. As far as the time was concerned, I noticed my schedule just allowed for me to sleep better hours.

Folks who do ministry from home, do it in various ways. It's not much different from ministering from a church setting. The major difference is the freedom it allows the minister to operate. In most cases there are no bosses. The scheduling is up to the minister. One big factor today is,Home Based Ministers have more options when it comes to being compensated (which we'll discuss at the end of this article).

All in all, Home Based Ministry is becoming more relevant because people today feel truly validated. The validation is not from other people but from God.

The Creativity

When it comes to creativity, Home Based Ministry is at the top of it's game. Ministry to prisoners, the homeless, kids, senior citizens, single moms to feeding the poor, online advice, teaching online|overseas, home based ministers are doing what they have been called to do to reach people with the gospel.

Imagine listening into a group counseling session online. A group leader hosts the session of 5 people who are in different parts of the globe. They all attend because they met each other in a social network and discovered they all were dealing with similar challenges. The group leader just happens to be the one connected to all the other group participants and sets up this group counseling session.

Imagine another home based minister discovering how to assist the homeless even though she doesn't have a lot of money. She figured she could at least make snack bags for the homeless and pass them out as she could. Then one day the idea came to her to use small rocks to encourage the homeless. What she actually did was paint words of encouragement on the small rocks like, “hope, love, joy, peace...” and gave it to homeless people along with a ministry tract telling them about the gospel. What she is also considering that's really spin]exciting is, doing short video interviews with the homeless and posting the interviews on her website for her friends to see and possible help her ministry endeavor.

Creativity is not new when it comes to ministry. Most of the time it's done from the church which requires some sort of board or staff approval. Home based ministers are hitting the ground running and doing what the Lord has given them only looking for His approval. This way creativity is not stifled and ministry to those who need it can be carried out sufficiently.

The Compensation

Getting paid in ministry is far from the minds of so many who volunteer, although you might hear many of them say, “if I had the money, I would do this full time.” In reality, not many churches can afford to pay ministers for every ministry in the church. The truth is not many churches can even afford to pay their pastors.

Working bi-vocationally is something that's done by a good majority of pastors and ministers. Of course ministry still takes place and God is glorified wherever we happen to be serving Him. Working traditional jobs has long been the option to make sure ministers can provide for their families and still do ministry.

Today, there are more and more ministers leaning towards starting their own businesses to better manage their time. What some are finding is their time managing their business is far more of a challenge than they initially thought. They are working traditional businesses, franchises, businesses from home and even network marketing. In most of these cases the focus is so far removed from ministry, the business becomes as much a distraction as their previous jobs were.

Traditional ministry compensation is being challenged in these tough economic times and even full time ministers are having to look elsewhere for additional income. What some are discovering is Home Based Ministry that pays. This is a ministry plan that allows for the minister to stay focused on their ministry mission and help others accomplish their ministry objectives at the same time. It's all done from home and the compensation grows consistently as they build teams of people who share their heart to help others enhance their ministry and be compensated.

49. Homeless To Freedom Campaign | Inspired by Ted Williams
The Plight of The Homeless

The plight of homelessness in America is more than just an eyesore. These are human beings who have fell on hard times, some by their own doing and others by tough circumstances. No matter what the case, many of these folks would rather be back on their feet participating in society as productive citizens.

Before I proceed, I must say that homeless shelters and ministries who serve the homeless are doing a remarkable job to assist the homeless but in all their effort, the plight still remains. The need is so great and the resources are so few. The hearts of the leaders and workers are in so much pain as they unable to offer more assistance. In all this pain, they still continue to serve those they can because it's one more person who needed help and was able to receive it.

Inspired by Ted Williams

The story of Ted Williams, “the homeless man with the golden voice” inspired me to communicate to my friends and share how churches and non profit organizations are helping the homeless. In the case of Ted Williams, he was able to tell his story via the internet and then via television and radio. All he did was speak into a camera and his life was turned around for the good. The challenge is that tons of other homeless people will speak into video cameras all over America and fame and fortune will not come their way. There lives will remain the same.

Not too long ago one church initiated a project to reach out to the homeless in their community using camcorders to capture the stories of the homeless and put them on a website. What they did was pretty amazing. When a homeless person told their story, the church would give that homeless person their own website with their own domain name (theirname.ws) and post their story on it. They would have inexpensive business cards made up with their domain name so the homeless person could give them away to people to visit their website and hear their story. On top of that the church's program gets members of the church and other interested parties to sponsor the homeless person's webiste so the homeless person doesn't have to every pay a thing for the site.

The Story Gets Even Better

This church (remaining nameless on purpose) created the Homeless To Freedom Campaign with one of the largest domain registries in the world. The domain registry liked the campaign so much it provided the church free website to get the program underway. The church was just doing their regular outreach to the homeless and one of their members kept bringing back video footage of the stories of the homeless people. The stories were just overwhelming. Each time tears would flow and more hearts were tugged on to help in this homeless ministry.

Then Comes The Idea

One of the leaders said, why don't we give the homeless people their own websites. Another person jumped up and asked the question, who's going to pay for them? Then another person jumped up and said, it's only $10 a month per website. We should be able to handle that. After all the commotion, the Evangelism Director said, our arrangement with the domain registry provides for any person who we give a website to the ability to receive their own website for free as long as they have two paying customers who get their own domain names. So that means for every two or our members who purchase their own website from a homeless person, a homeless person can have their own website for free to tell their story.

Empowering The Homeless

What's so special about the Homeless To Freedom Campaign is it empowers those financially who want to be empowered. To hear the stories of the homeless certainly promotes inspiration to us who would be considered the “haves” (like in the “haves and the have nots).

The church put together a simple plan that puts each homeless person on a level playing field while providing them an opportunity to increase their income. First of all they get never have to put any money out of pocket. The church provides them a website on a 30 day free trial offer. Two members of the church purchase websites from the homeless person which insures the homeless person never pays a penny after their 30 day free trial offer is over.

The Homeless To Freedom Campaign Plan

2 church members purchase websites and the homeless person gets theirs for free

2 church members find 5 who participate in the HTFC and homeless person gets paid $5

5 church members find 5 the HTFC participants and homeless person gets paid $25

25 church members find 5 the HTFC participants and homeless person gets paid $125

125 church members find 5 the HTFC participants and homeless person gets paid $625

625 church members find 5 the HTFC participants and homeless person gets paid $3,125

This is income that comes in month after month as long as the HTFC participants keep their websites live on the internet. This is just an example of the potential income that could be earned. It could be more or less. It all depends on the teams of people and their passion to empower the homeless re-establish their lives.

Important Note: The story you've just read was written to spark your imagination. It is fictitious. The HTFC does not exist and there are no homeless people participating in it. The thing to note is the plan is real and the domain registry's offer is legitimate. They just need churches who are willing to do the work and empower the homeless to re-establish their lives.

50. Christian College Students | Online Viral Revival | God Idea
It seems as though every once in a while a God idea hits a community of believers and a revival is set on fire in that community and grows to massive proportions. It is to go without saying that Christian college students are hungry for God and ready to pursue His will to see more people come to know Jesus.

Here's the idea

The Winning Souls Campaign is just getting under way. It's an awareness campaign stressing the importance of winning souls. It's no secret that many Christian young people leave the church as they go off to college. What better place to keep the awareness of God alive online than among college students. The Winning Souls Campaign uses .WS websites (which stands for Winning Souls of course :-) Each participant chooses their own domain name (ie; http://theirname.WS). Here's the genius of the plan. THE POWER OF TESTIMONIES! Believers are sharing their testimonies on their own .WS websites and introducing the concept to their friends who do the same. It's a simple plan that has the potential to become a "viral revival of righteousness" in a flash.

It's acutally Multi Level Ministry

Just like Multi Level Marketing, this Multi Level Ministry campaign has a few simple components every participant can do.

1. Believe in Jesus
2. Share your testimony on a .WS website
3. Help others who believe in Jesus share their testimonies on their own .WS websites

Why College Students Are Attracted

1. It's simple to do
2. They believe their testimonies are meaningful
3. They don't mind telling their friends
4. It's affordable (especially for college students)
5. They like getting paid to help their friends simply tell their story

The Most Interesting Combination

Sharing your testimony is one thing but getting paid to help others share their testimony is a big deal. Well, it's only a dollar. Those dollars can add up based on the structure being used by the Winning Souls Campaign.

Here's The Structure

You help 5 people share their testimonies on .WS websites, you get paid $5

Those 5 help 5 people each share their testimonies on .WS websites, you get paid $25

Those 25 help 5 people each share their testimonies on .WS websites, you get paid $125

Those 125 help 5 people each share their testimonies on .WS websites, you get paid $625

Those 625 help 5 people each share their testimonies on .WS websites, you get paid $3,125

The neat thing about this is as long as these Winning Souls participants continue to keep their testimonies live on the internet you get paid month after month and their is no limit to the number of people who can share their testimonies online. This is a campaign with a double blessing. What's not to like about doing the Lord's work and getting paid? Just think, in this illustration you only helped 5 people share their testimony.

If you love Jesus, you qualify. If you are willing to share your testimony on a .WS website, you qualify. If you are willing to help others who love Jesus share their testimonies on their own .WS websites, you quailfy. It's free to get started. Find out how you can join this viral revival online. 51. Winning Souls | Initiative Among College Students
"Imagine college students uniting to win souls usiing the internet. Far fetched? I don't think so "

College days were so much fun for me. I thank God I lived through them to come to know Jesus early in my career. I remember the seeds of faith God brought to me from friends all during my college years. Just want to say thanks to all my college friends who loved me enough to share Jesus with me.

This article was inspired by my son's girlfriend. Both her and my son are college students who love Jesus and were the first to join an initiative among college students to win souls using the internet. It's a simple plan. What they have done is share their love for Jesus in a testimony format on their websites and are introducing the concept to their friends. Then they are helping their friends post their testimonies on their websites.

Here's the concept:

Love Jesus

Share Your Testimony Online

Help Others Who Love Jesus Share Their Testimonies Online

It's really that simple. My imagination began to be intrigued a little bit more because they are using .WS (Dot WS) websites. It could stand for Website or Winning Souls. They've chosen to land on winnng souls. So here's what's going on. College Students Winning Souls is becoming a campaign of sorts giving college students the opportunity to utilize the technology they are so familiar with to serve the Lord in their own personal ministries simply sharing their testimonies online.

This is a powerful way to introduce college students who have a desire to serve the Lord in their own ministry get started.

52. Urgent Belief Stated or Acutal
Urgency is a word that is tossed around way too much. Just how urgent we are about anything is seen in our daily activity. I have often said that to have a stated belief and an actual belief are two different things. To say we believe, often brings with it a false sense of certainly. On the other hand to actually belive is to do what we say rather somebody is watching or not.

Here's a queston for you. What do you really believe about winning souls? Now ask yourself if it is an actual belief of just a stated belief.

53. For Immediate Release Re: Winning Souls Campaign
Most churches have a campaign of sorts to win souls. It either involves individual or group evangelism going door to door, various types of events and projects and of course one on one evangelism.

Entrepreneurial Pastor, Ced Reynolds of CentrePoint Christian Fellowship in Chino, CA has been praying for an evangelistic method that would be more inclusive and more personalized to help his congregation pursue fulfilling the Great Commission.. As we are all instructed to “...do the work of an evangelist...” according to 2 Timothy 4:6, Pastor Ced believes it's imperative that believers have a viable method of doing so. The Winning Souls Campaign has become that method not only for CentrePoint Christian Fellowship but for believers who have a passion for winning souls.

Winning Souls is an awareness campaign expressing the importance of winning souls utilizing .WS (dot WS) websites. Every participant receives their own personalized domain name (ie: http://theirname.ws), 10 personalized email addresses, a website builder and a hosting service to make their websites and email addresses live on the internet.

What makes this plan so unique is that it stresses that every participant take advantage of something they all possess, “their testimony.” The campaign is very simple. Participants are coached on how to write out a 2 – 5 minute testimony. The they are instructed how to post it in writing, audio or video on the 1st of 10 available pages on their website. That's it. Of course they can use the other pages for whatever they choose.

The reason .WS websites are used instead of .com, .info, net or dot anything else is because .WS (which actually stands for website) fits so perfectly with Winning Souls. In fact Pastor Ced purchased the domain name WinningSouls.WS for the campaign to be a place for people to initially find out the campaign. The goal of the Winning Souls Campaign is begin a “viral revival of righteousness” throughout the world with the testimonies of believers using .WS websites. Churches and evangelistic ministries are encouraged to join the Winning Souls Campaign.

The great thing about this campaign is churches, ministries and individuals can participate. Churches and ministries (501c3 status) with evangelistic campaigns which need awareness and funding qualify for a special .WS campaign promotion which offers websites for free. On an individual level, websites are available for a free 7 day trial basis and a small monthly fee for those who decide to keep them.

Although the Winning Souls Campaign is up and going right now, the official launch is Jan1, 2011. We are looking forward to helping believers post their testimonies and impact the lives of those who see or hear them.

54. A Better Way To Tell Your Story
Telling your story could mean more good to more people if it was told on the right platform. So many people need to hear your story but have no way of hearing it becuase of various reasons. If you have a story to tell of what the Lord has done in your life, join our Winning Souls Campaign.

55. Your Story Really Makes a Difference
Telling your story is something you can do most often better than anybody else.

The world is getting so much smaller and many of us have friends all over the globe. Our fiendships are so much different than our parents. No matter what age we are, many of us have friends who we grew up with who moved on and in many cases moved competely out of the country. Why do I mention this you ask? Well the truth is, our lives are connected to people who have stories we need to hear and stories they need to hear from us. It's simply part and parcel of the extension of our friendships.

Have you ever been curious about what happened to a friend you grew up with? That's why social media is so popular today. People long to know what's been going on in the lives of their long lost friends.

Let's put the shoe on the other foot for a moment. Even if you've never left the area where you grew up, don't you think your friends are curious about what ever happened to you? Sure they are. They hunt for your online and can't find you. They call old phone numbers to no avail. They contacct everybody they know you knew and still get nowhere. Isn't it time you come out of the box and make yourself reachable.

Your story really does make a difference. That's the whole point of the WinningSouls.WS Campaign. It's our goal to get as many stories of believers online as possible. Can you imagine your friends finding you with your own personalized domain name with a story that turned out so much different than they would have imagined. Here you are saved, loving Jesus and proud to tell the world.

Your story really does make a difference. Keep on telling it and encourage others to do the same.

56. Every Christian Should Do This
It's a pretty bold statement to say "every Christian should do this." Well if you sensed the urgency i sense regarding the necessity to get the Gospel out to the world, you might say the same thing. No other time in the history of man kind has there been access to more people than now. The internet has really leveled the playing field.

No longer do believers who attend church just have to settle for attending church. No longer do they have to settle for the ministry that nobody else wants to do. No longer do they have to be told they have a wonderful heart but they are not qualified for a particular ministry. Those days are gone for good.

Can you visualize your testimony in front of a person who identified with your story so much that they keep coming back to your website over and over again? This is the sort of stuff that's happening on the internet. I know because I've experienced people viewing and listening to my personal testimony over and over again. You can't tell me they are not moved by what the Lord has done in my life.

Every Christian Should Do This. I'm not kidding. Even if you don't have any internet skills, you can do this with the help of somebody else. Even if you can't write, you can do this with somebody's help. Even if you're shy, you can do this with somebody's help.

It's as simple as:

1. Loving Jesus

2. Being willing to share your story

3. Being willing to help somebody else who loves Jesus share their story.

It really is that simple. We're not just asking a few people to join our cause, we're asking beleivers all over the world to join our cause. It's meant to stir believers to action by simply being part of a crusade of people who are using .WS websites for the purpose of bringing awareness to the importance of winning souls.

Know that is is totally understood that not one of us can lead a person to make any kind of decision, let alone making them love Jesus. The key is spreading the love of Jesus consistently that it gives the Holy Spirit an opportunity to touch the hearts of the soon to be saved.

This is the most awesome plan I have ever seen that gives every believer a true opportunity to tell their story and not be so stuck to a "church program" that doesn't fit them. Will you join us?

57. Let's Keep on Spreading the Love of Jesus
It's really getting exciting seeing the number of people joining our cause to see souls won using our testimonies on .WS websites. Who would have believed that sharing our testimonies online would make such a difference in the lives of our friends, family and even complete strangers.

It's about using new technologies to spread the love of Jesus to a world that is looking for relief. Let's keep on doing what we've been doing.

Stay blessed,

58. Teaming Up Online to Win Souls
Teaming up to do things these days is not so uncommon. But what about teaming up to win souls online? I believe God has put the internet in our generation for His purpose. I can only imagine what He has in store as we pursue His plan for the soon to be saved in this age.

Have you ever wanted to do something about not seeing people come to Jesus consistently in your chruch? If you have, you now have the opportunity to do more than that. You can team up with your friends from your church and different churches and spread all of your testimonies all over the internet. This is a phenomenal approach to expose the gospel through the wonderful testimonies of God's children. Are you ready to team up? Do it and you won't be sorry. Encourage your friends and family members to be involved with the Winning Souls Campaign. There has never been a time when people from all nations could penetrate the world with the good news of the Kingdom of God.

It used to be hard to imagine the majority of congregation members having the ability to participate in a local church evangelism program let alone an international one. Well the day has come where anybody who seriously wants to have an evangelistic ministry can do so.

My heart bubbles over with joy knowing that by simply using the internet to share simple 2 - 5 minute testimonies, you and I can impact people we know and people we will never meet. This is awesome! If you're not part of the movement of "Winning Souls", we need you now. We need you to help multiply our efforts of exposing the Gospel of Kingdom to a lost and dyiing world today. 59. The answer to "I don't know any unsaved people"
Hello Again,

This will be quick. One of the challenges many Christians face after being saved for a few years is they no longer know any unsaved people. Most of their new friends are Christians and they find they have limited opportunities to witness to the unsaved.

The Winning Souls Campaign is an answer to that challenge. It helps Christians team up with their Christian friends putting their testimonies on their own .WS websites. The benefit here allows them to refer the unsaved people they do come in contact with to the webpages of a Christian friend who might have a testimony that is right in line with the life of the unsaved person they've just met or they've known for a while.

Testimonies of various types shared on .WS websites makes the journey of Winning Souls a group effort rather than an individual effort. It makes for a lot less pressure to feel as though you have to go at this alone. You know there are other Christians with you that share the same concern to see people saved.

The Winning Souls Campaign is the ultimate saturation method of evangelism. Everywhere people look they will see .WS websites and they will be constantly seeing testimonies of all kinds. Be sure to tell your family and friends to get thier .WS website today. Recommending .WS websites for the purpose of sharing Christian testimonies is something that you'll be proud to do.

60.
Formatting Your 2-5 Minute Testimony
Formating Your 2 to 5 Minute Testimony

61. Multi Level Ministry
Most people have heard of Multi Level Marketing but what about Multi Level Ministry?

Multi Level Marketing for the most part is about three things

1. Using a products or services

2. Recommending the products or services

3. Sponsoring people who USE the products or services, RECOMMEND the products or services to others and SPONSOR others to do the same

Multi Level Ministry is similar but there is a BIG difference

1. Believing in Jesus

2. Testifying about Jesus

3. Discipling those who BELIEVE in Jesus to TESTIFY about Jesus and DISCIPLE others to do the same.

Be on the look out for more to come about this new ministry opportunity for believers...

62. Empowering Believers
I often talk about empowering entrepreneurs. Today I want to spend a few moments of your time giving some pointers on how believers around the country are being empowered.

Viral Testimonies
Every believer has a testimony and they should share it as much as they can to impact the lives of others. Can you imagine how awesome it would be to have your testimony in more places than you could every be in any given day? That's what viral testimonies are doing. Viral testimonies aren't new by any stretch of the imagination. What's new is, believers who aren't famous, having their testimonies online.

Personal Websites
Websites are customary for businesses to have and not unheard of for entrepreneurs and other professionals. But it's certainly out of the ordinary for "average everyday people" to have websites, especially with their own personal name as their domain name.

Here's what believers are doing with their personal domain names. They are sharing their testimonies for the purpose of winning souls. The viral part of this whole deal is that they are spreading the word to their Christian friends and family members who are getting their own domain names, building websites and sharing their testimonies .

Finally there is a way for average ordinary people to share their testimonies and link with others of like faith who are doing the same. Through the utiilization of .WS websites, believers are making a mark on the internet that won't ever be erased. It all boils down to winning souls.

Stay blessed,

Ced Reynolds

63. Ministry Going Viral
Ministry for the most part is one on one and groups of people meeting. Face to face is the absolute best when it's possible. But when it's not, groups have to do. But can groups provide the much needed attention that a one on one face to face meeting can? Well the answer is, it depends on the person and their needs and the structure of the group.

Introducing Ministry Going Viral ! This is more than just a saying. With people all over the world in need all the time, why not viral? Ministry needs can be met in a variety of ways. Just the other day we were hearing testimonies in church and we heard people who were impacted by tracts, video, TV, radio, the Bible and a host of other communications tools.

We may as well face it. The internet is here to stay (at least for a while) and we have to take advantage of it to meet the needs of people all over the world. In times past it global ministry was only for missionaries. Today church folks know people all over the world. Friends move because of their jobs, education, the military and for a variety of other reasons. They need to connect with people they know, like and trust. Often when they move overseas and even to a new community not to far away from where they were, they don't know a soul. Viral ministry opportunities via the internet makes it possible to still stay connected.

Skype gives people the opportunity to speak and even see each other online. Video phones do the same thing. Private online conference rooms gives people a chance to connect in private like they were in a separate room in their own homes. Things are changing and we have to get use to the change. Just imagine when this technology didn't exist. People still moved away and where did it put them in regards to their close relationships? It put them at the mercy of old technology. Well today technology is making it possible to stay connected. To go viral or not is not the question. The question is should we connect and stay connected with the ones we love? That my friend is the question.

64. 10 Reasons Why Pastors Say "No" To Most Fundraising Plans
First of all I'm a pastor so I speak from experience regarding why pastors say no to most fund raising plans. On top of that I'm an entrepreneur who talks with other pastors about raising funds for their churches.I first began to realize something was wrong when I wouldn't even promote a fund raising program in my own church. Don't get me wrong, I offer wonderful useful products and services people in my church use everyday. But something just wouldn't let me pull the trigger when it came to talking to my congregation about how my business could help them and help our church.

Let me point out the #1 reason I keep coming up with:

#1 Conflict with Mission of Our Church

As a pastor who teaches and encourages people to do the work of the ministry, I've always found it conflicting to introduce something totally contrary to the mission of our church. I understand that the church needs money and it's just as important to empower our members to become financially stable as it is to empower them to become spiritually stable. But somehow I have always felt a little uneasy about setting up a fund raising plan before a ministry plan. Believe me, it's a tough call.

Here's something I want to make sure you understand. I celebrate the entrepreneurs in my church. I see them as valuable to our congregation and our community. In fact I even encourage them to connect with other members as long as it's done tastefully and professionally.

One of the greatest fund raisers a church could ever have is empowered entrepreneurs who fund the mission of the church through their tithes, offerings and special gifts. It sure would be nice if it was that easy... :~)

10 Reasons Why Pastors Say "NO" To Most Fundraising Plans Continued...

#2 Little to no Research - When there is no research done prior to meeting with a pastor it gives a sense of not understanding the church's true needs.

#3 Poor Company Credibility - When a company is unknown or has a tarnished reputation, pastors tend to shy away because they want to protect their members from any potential harm.

#4 Unprofessional Representation - When a representative comes across in any way to be unprofessional, many pastors are cordial but will not proceed beyond the initial conversation.

#5 Too Radical of a Change - When a fund raising program presents an intrusive plan that will radically shift the culture of a church, generally a pastor will pass.

#6 Tough Learning Curve - When the learning curve seems too steep in the eyes of the pastor, it most often sends a signal not to pursue.

#7 No Credible References - When there are no references or the references are not credible, pastors sometimes say, "get back with me when somebody else succeeds with your fund raising plan."

#8 Too Expensive - When the start up cost just is not in the budget, it doesn't make a difference how successful the program has been for others, it's not happening.

#9 Too Time Consuming - When a fund raising plan starts getting more attention than ministry activities, pastors put the brakes on real fast.

#10 Bad Past Experience - When there has been a bad past experience by the pastor or someone they know, saying "no" comes real easy.

I know there are a lot more reasons why pastors say no to fund raising plans. But if you have a plan, it might do you good to at least consider these10 reasons why you might hear "NO."

66. Kidz Making Money Online With Parents
Kids are in business online and making money with their parents. Working with mom and dad has never been more fun. Kids are having a blast online learning the ins and outs of marketing at younger and younger ages.

When I was growing up I had a chance to work with my dad in construction and thought, "why in the world would somebody want to do this for a living?" Now don't get me wrong, I think construction is an honorable trade but I knew early in life it wouldn't be for me.

I never would have imagined as a child working on the internet yet alone making money. Today business is like a game to kids. They play on the computer. They study on the computer. They gather information on the computer. Why not make money with the computer?

As an Entrepreneurial Pastor, three years ago I was thinking of a way to give back to our community and I thought about sharing my business knowledge with children. That's when the "Kidz-n-Biz Project" was born. With the help of local business owners and city officials we taught kidz "Business Education through Christian Principles."

One might think adults are competitive but kidz are just as competitive and probably even more. The campaign this year highlighted was each kid building their own website. We had a company provide each kid their own personalized domain name, a professional site builder, 10 email addresses and a state of the art hosting service. What is so key about this was, the company did it for free!

We really didn't know if building a we bsite was over the heads of these kidz from 3rd - 9th graders. Boy were we way off base. These kidz put out some of the best work I've seen on the internet. Some of them even built 10 pages on their site with pertinent information that had great value to their visitors. It was absolutely amazing.

The types of online businesses ranged from thrift shops to gadgets. The imaginations of these kidz just blew the minds of the adult mentors and the parents. We were going to wait until next summer to see what the kidz had in store for our 2011 session. But we've been prompted explore offering a similar project online in a classroom format.

We're on the lookout for kidz of promise who possess entrepreneurial spirits.

67. Cause + Marketing = Win Win Win
Cause Marketing has been utilized by corporate giants and large non profits for years. It is now becoming a growing phenomenon among small business owners and non profits of all sizes.

Every business owner worth their salt is looking for ways to make a positive contribution in their community through their business. On the other side of things, non profit groups which exist for the purpose of contributing to the community are looking for ways to get more funding from businesses.

The right cause connected with the right businesses can mean a lot for the financial well being of the cause and the businesses involved. The awareness alone does the business good because of the good they are doing to help the non profit's cause. The expanded awareness the non profit's cause also benefits tremendously.

Think about this for a minute. What if you visited your favorite store's website and saw a donation button of your favorite cause. You probably wouldn't be as apprehensive about making an online donation if you were asked to do so. you see, the small business owner is realizing that even on a local level there is only so much market share. They are more than happy to support great causes that people know, like and trust in conjunction with their on and offline marketing efforts. It just makes sense to help the causes people support through business.

Cause Marketing truly brings a win for the business, a win for the non profit and a win for the consumer/giver. Find out more about an initiative that is being introduced in the Cause Marketing world.

69. Legal Plans to the Rescue
Legal plans to the rescue
By Jim Barone | Published May 1, 2009 From the May 2009 Issue

The headlines tell a story of gloom and doom as the world faces one of the greatest financial challenges since the 1930s. We’ve all read the news. Giants of commerce seem to be teetering. Many organizations — large and small — now find themselves between a rock (lower sales) and a hard place (business costs).

Everywhere, people are feeling the pinch. From Wall Street to Main Street, people are worried about jobs, benefits and financial security — the future. Yet, economists, historians, and grandparents who lived through the Great Depression remind us that society has survived and overcome financial difficulties.

LegalÂ’s Unique Advantages
The good news is that, despite the dark clouds of economic uncertainty, leading brokers are finding a silver lining of opportunity by providing best in class financial products and services. They are helping employers and employees overcome today’s challenges and move purposefully and confidently into the future. This is especially true for brokers who offer voluntary products, such as legal plans — placing themselves in a favorable position with current and prospective clients.

Employers are always looking for cost-effective ways to manage business expenses. Yet, they also recognize the importance of providing value-added employee benefits. The two strategies can work together to help keep the business moving forward.

While managing costs is clearly important, savvy employers don’t lose sight of their most valuable natural resource — the men and women who comprise their workforce. Cost-conscious employers are employing the cost-saving strategy of passing along benefit costs to employees.

At the same time, they are choosing to offer legal plans or other value-added voluntary benefits that help employees address personal needs and objectives — keeping things in balance for all concerned. According to recent studies from UNUM and MetLife, more than half of U.S. employers offer at least one voluntary benefit to which tens of millions of American workers have access through their jobs.

Recent studies have shown that Americans — concerned about work and financial stability — are placing increased personal value in having adequate benefit protection for themselves and their families. Furthermore, they appear to be willing to pay for voluntary benefits that supplement their standard employer-sponsored benefits.

While some consumers might perceive legal services, in general, as inaccessible and unaffordable, a Russell Research study (“Legal Needs of Today’s Multi-Generational Workforce”) showed that a majority of Americans see legal plans as a valuable employee benefit to help them deal with personal legal needs, ranging from financial and family to home and automobile-related matters.

One of the hard facts of life that people are now learning is that legal needs arise regardless of having coverage or ability to pay. The Russell Study reported that only one-fifth of Americans have a plan for covering legal expenses that may arise. Nearly two-fifths donÂ’t have a plan and another two-fifths would have to find a way to cover legal expenses. The study also showed that seven out of 10 people (67 percent) experienced one or more legal life events in the past 12 months while nine out of 10 (88 percent) were concerned about one or more financial or legal matters.

Power of Differentiation
During tough economic times, differentiation can be a matter of self preservation — whether you’re talking about a broker or a business owner. Commission shrinkage has become a troubling trend as more employers buy down benefits. As a result, the competition for a finite number of deals has become infinitely more intense. In Darwinian terms, it has become survival of the fittest. More than ever, providing professional expertise, counsel and products that serve client needs can be critical elements for brokers to build strong client relationships and nurture business growth.

Brokers who offer legal plans are able to stand out from the crowd with a unique and valuable product offering that is gaining widespread acceptance. According to the Society of Human Resources Management, legal services have been one of the fastest growing voluntary benefits, averaging more than 20 percent annually for the past several years.

The growth of legal services can be attributed, in part, to the dual advantages. For employers, legal represents a cost-effective voluntary benefit and a strategic business asset that can affect the business bottom line by helping reduce employee stress, absenteeism and presenteeism, which can, in turn, promote higher productivity, job performance and employee morale.

In addition to the growing presence in the voluntary benefits market, legal plans are expanding into other areas of financial services. Many financial institutions are adding legal services to their customer portfolios to provide a safety net for consumers. Meanwhile, a growing number of life insurance companies are embedding legal protection into insurance policies to streamline estate planning for life insurance policyholders.

Broker Value Proposition
Legal can offer brokers several distinct advantages, both for what legal can do and what it is not. For example, legal isn’t subject to the same inflationary drivers as other employee benefits programs. With employers struggling to maintain or add benefits due to costs, legal is a nice offset product that offers a cost-effective benefit from the employer’s perspective and valuable legal resource for employees and their families. Clearly, legal plans represent an opportunity to offer clients a much needed benefit. Legal is not a commodity or “me too” insurance product — it’s a value-added product that helps people in our multi-generational workforce address a wide range of financial, family, home and other legal needs. Legal is not a complicated insurance product. The policy isn’t too difficult to decipher. Selling and servicing legal doesn’t require extensive customer hand-holding. Plus, there’s limited business accountability for the broker.

Legal can help brokers shift gears to drive customer retention and new sources of revenue. As stated, legal can differentiate the broker’s product offering — adding value to the total product portfolio and enhancing the ability to meet client needs for the future. Compared with other financial products, legal is low risk and low maintenance: a straightforward, uncomplicated benefit.

The insurance aspect of legal plans shouldnÂ’t be understated. While specialty products, such as identity theft coverage, can be helpful to consumers, legal plans provide a more comprehensive benefit to protect against the costly, unexpected or unplanned legal needs that can turn the world upside down. The cost? A yearÂ’s worth of comprehensive legal protection for the cost equivalent of a roadside assistance program.

Strong Case for Legal
Despite the prophets of economic gloom and doom, the sky isnÂ’t falling. However, if it does fall, a growing number of Americans can rest assured that having a legal plan is their best policy. Many employers have already enhanced their benefit portfolios with group legal plans that help employees address personal issues. This proactive approach can serve as preventive maintenance, provide services when needed and help employees achieve better work/life balance. While many employers are recognizing the need for legal insurance, only one out of eight employees works for an employer that offers group legal coverage, according to an earlier Russell Research study. That would seem to suggest that for brokers looking for value-added, cost-effective benefits to strengthen their product portfolio, client relationships and financial future, the sky is the limit.

As senior vice president and chief sales officer for ARAG, Jim Barone leads an experienced sales team in working with businesses, brokers and benefits professionals to provide legal plans that help people address personal legal needs. Barone has more than 20 years of experience as a successful sales executive in the employer sponsored and voluntary market.

70. Prepaid vs. Postpaid Services

I have never really given too much thought to the things I prepay for vs. postpaying for them.  Just wanted to share some thoughts about how I have come to the conclusion that's a good thing to prepay for some services.

I prepay for my medical coverage -  It's a good thing because I sure would be hard pressed to have to postpay for the services provided by my doctor, especially any kind of surgery.

I prepay for my automobile coverage - It's a good thing because I have been in accidents that would have caused me to file bankruptcy if I wasn't covererd.

I prepay for my automobile warranty - It's a good thing because if I have a transmission problem with my new car, I won't have to come out of pocket thousands of dollars.

I prepay for my life insurance coverage - It's a good thing becuase if I should die prematurely, my family will not have to change their lifestyle just becuase my income is lost.

I prepay for my homeowners coverage - It's a good thing because if my home were to burn down and my property was destroyed it would be virtually impossible to postpay to replace it.

I prepay for my life events legal plan -  It's a good thing because in this sue happy culture we live in, our family would be wiped out financially.  In addition to that I would rather prepay for the ability to have legal consultation that postpay hundreds of dollars per hour.

I prepay for my identity theft coverage - It's a good thing because if my identity is compromised, I don't have the expertise nor the 600 hours it typically takes to get it restored.  Secondly My identity is is my most valuable possession.

All in all prepaying for services is a way to save money and have the quality of services that are necessary in our busy lives.  I would venture to say that none of us would prefer to postpay for services when we can pay a significantly lowerer monthly premium to have the same services.

Love to hear your thoughts.

Ced Reynolds, CITRMS

71. FSBO's may be among your best leads
It is no surprise that there are tons of people who feel as though they can sell their home on their own and they don't need a professional Realtor. Sure there are some people who have been able to do it. My question is, if when using a Realtor there are things that pop up, how much more will things pop up that a FSBO won't have a clue how to handle?

Years ago when I was in the moving business I would stop by FSBO's and talk with them about the pros and cons of moving their own furniture. Most of them had no clue that having a moving company move their furniture had so many great benefits and the cost in a lot of cases was far lower than they estimated. My point is FSBO's need help but we have to have a way to offer it to them without them feeling as though we're looking to take advantage of them.

Today as I am in the business of offering legal plans, I approach FSBO's with a simple question. All I ask them is, "how will you handle the legalities of selling your home?" Many of them just think they can get all the info they need by talking to Realtors or relying on what they observed from a previous Real Estate transaction. I ask them, "do you have an attorney review offers you receive?" These are just a couple of vital things that I bring to the attention of FSBO's.

Something great about the people who really pay attention is that they ask questions that allow me to help them obtain the legal consultation they need and save paying between $150 - $400 per hour Think about it. Wouldn't it be a good thing to offer a FSBO the help they need to show them you really are there to help them. They may or may not list with you but them might consider paying you a commission if you bring them a buyer. All this might be a consideration just because you chose to help them do what they believed was the right thing to do (sell their own home).

Can you find a way to help a FSBO that will let them know you want to genuinely want to help them without them leaving them the impression that you're trying to trick them to list with you? Believe it or not, people remember how they are treated. If we treat people with dignity and respect their plans they will remember us in a favorable way. Our goodness just might end up helping us get a referral or two just for helping a FSBO in a small way.

Stay in the game and play to win, but always remember to keep your helping hat on.

Ced Reynolds

72. The Leader You Are Looking For Is You
Have you ever found yourself looking to others to lead you when you didn't know what to do? There is no need. There is a leader inside you who knows every move you need to make.

The Bible says that we should "Trust in the Lord with all of our heart and lean not to our own understanding and in all of our ways we are to acknowledge Him and He would direct our paths. Check it out for yourself in the book of Proverbs chapter 3.

There is a leader inside you wants to lead you into all truth. He wants to lead you even when you are in the valley of the shadow of death.

Stop looking on the outside to find a leader to help you become all God wants you to be. Look to the One who created you and you will find yourself being led in ways you've never dreamed of.

As much as the guru's claim to know, they definitely don't know more than the Creator of the universe.

Short and sweet, stop looking for leaders and look to the Lord to lead you. He has your best interest in mind.

Here are some keys to know when the Lord is leading you:

* Integrity will guide you
* Peace will rule in your heart
* Righteousness will be apparent in your life
* Trust will be present
* Faith will be your way of living
* Love will be your true motivation

Stay blessed,

73. So compelling they will ask you the big question
Have you ever been speaking with someone and you just couldn't wait to ask them the big question? You know, the big question that makes you want to interrupt the conversation. It's the question that you just have to have answered or you will burst at the seams.

Isn't it awesome how people who are so excited about something have a way of telling such a compelling story that you just want to stop them in mid stream and ask them the big question. You're saying, OK, Ced, what's the big question? Gotcha, you just asked it.

You have just been participating in a short compelling read along that purposed to get you to ask a specific question. Now can you imagine how you could use phraseology that would get people to want to stop you in the middle of you talking about your offering?

This is one of the secrets to get people to willingly want to be involved with you. They sense a genuine excitement and feel compelled enough to want to investigate what it is you're talking about. I have a good friend who is a master story teller and he uses this technique to perfection.

Here's something to keep in mind when you're connecting with people. Do as much homework as you can before you start leading them down the road to ask the big question. Get to know a little bit about the people you are speaking with. They'll appreciate it when you speak about things that willingly tell you that interest them.

In closing, here's a couple of samples of big questions:

1. How do I find out more...?
2. How can I get started...?
3. Where can I get...?
4. Can I do...?
5. When can we...?

These are just a few. Do you have any big questions that you wish people would ask you? If you don't mind, we would love it if you would share a few of your desired big questions.

Stay blessed,

74. Leadership Dynamics of our Era
Just sitting here wondering how much leadership has changed in our era. With the internet and the ability to call all over the world for literally nothing, is it necessary for leaders to be present with those they lead? Years ago it wouldn't be thought of to have a leader lead without being with the people he/she was leading. In fact there wasn't much of a choice. Today leaders are leading by webinars, teleconferences, in convention halls and some even still lead one on one.

As a leader what is your preferred method of leading?

As a follower what is your preferred method of being lead?

75. Too late for 2008? Just in time for 2009...
Free traffic exchange Something tells me that 2009 will be a year of great opportunity. I say that because of my faith in God and my firm belief in good things coming to those who wait. Many of us have been waiting for a long time for the right opportunity to come along. In really should say many of us have being prepared to receive a great opportunity.

Over the years I have seen my share of good opportunities. Some I have been able to take advantage of because I was prepared mentally and financially. But there were those opportunities I had to let pass me by because I just didn't see what they offered and in a lot of cases I just didn't have the money to take advantage of them.

In this last month I have been extremely fortunate to come across three opportunities that I believe will help many people who dare to work online. I've been in the online game for almost 10 years now and I firmly believe the best is still yet to come.

Below is a splash page that I think you will enjoy. The message may or may not be for you but I guarantee you it will make you think. New ways to attain good quality leads is at the forefront of most our minds. This may just be the thing that puts us out in front of our competitors.

Here is Message Magic:

76. Look around, who do you see?

In a sea of professionals in the same industry many of them know each other. The ones in the same niche especially know who each other are. It's time to look around and see who's still in the game. Look around, who do you see? Are the same people who started in this race with you still with you? Are yesterday's superstars still in the game?

In business it is the ones who have applied what they learned in lean times and great times who stick around. There are tons of want to be professionals who can "talk a good game." I mean there are people who sit around and talk about the old days as though they participated. There are people who posture as though things are going good. There are people who put on fronts just to save face in front of their peers. We can be good at all of these things but being good in this arena won't keep us in the game. I don't know who said it but when it comes right down to the wire, those who work more on themselves than they work on anything else become the market leaders.

Being a market leader in today's market is hard. It's real hard. I mean people who stay out front in business get up early and stay up late. They do what it takes to get the job done. These are folks who ponder the possibilities all the time. These are men and women who won't settle for mediocrity. They won't throw in the towel just because everybody else has. These folks scrape and scrape until they get what they know is theirs.

Look around, who do you see? Do you see yourself in the midst of a group of professionals who are settling for just getting by or do you see yourself as the market leader in your niche? Please understand that because knowledge is so readily available today it no longer is the quintessential distinguisher of market leaders. Understanders of the market can certainly be market leaders but only if they apply the knowledge. On the other hand "just understanding the market no more makes a person a market leader than sitting in a garage makes one an automobile."

I look around and realize that many of the folks who started with me in the niche I am in are no longer in the game. They don't write blogs anymore nor do they connect with the same people I connect with. This leaves in a sea of professionals pretty much by myself. Many of you know I am not a Realtor. You read my blogs and realize I am an encourager by nature. The point I am making here today is that before I ever encouraged anybody else I had to encourage myself.

For me being a market leader has been tough. I made a decision back in the late 80's that I would connect with Realtors like nobody in my industry would. Although I have changed industries and moved into a different arena, my connection with Realtors stands out more than any other person in my industry that I know. Just look around, who do you see? Where are the market leaders in the niche I connect with?

It might sound like I'm bragging but the reality is that I have purposed to set myself far apart from my industry companions. I have chosen to introduce myself to professionals who they said they would love to help. The only challenge is that many of them really didn't mean it. If they did they would still be around. This might sound a bit harsh or egotistical but again I have to ask you to look around, who do you see?

In closing I want to encourage you to be the market leader in your chosen niche. Be the person that when others look around they still see standing broadcasting the same message. It takes guts to leave the ruts. By the yard it's hard. Inch by inch life is a cinch. These are cute quotes but they have a powerful impact for those who make up their minds to distinguish themselves as the market leaders and the understanders of the market.

What's your decision today, to be a market leader or an understander of the market?

77. Is it time to stop, slow down or speed up

OK, so we're doing things a little bit different than we anticipated. Business has taken a turn in a great direction for some and for some a turn in a negative direction. We have to ask ourselves, "if it's my business who is responsible for the ultimate direction it goes?" Do we leave it up to circumstances or chance?

What gets me about many who go into business in boom times is that they don't really know if it's the boom time that has their business thriving or smard (smart & hard combined). The business owners who understand there are ups and downs in business most often stay afloat during tough times because part of their plan is preparing for tough times.

To be fair there are some who have just got going in business for themselves and haven't had the opportunity to plan for the tough times. What are they to do? Well the fact of the matter is that tough times are real and they will have to scrimp and scrape to determine if they are suited for being in business for themselves. I guarantee you one thing though, they will certainly learn a lot and be sure to plan for the boom times and the tough times in their future.

Sudden changes in the national economy don't always hit our areas right away. They may be signs of things that may be coming our direction but our personal economy is determined by how we serve the clients who want and can afford our services. When situations arise where we say, "but that wasn't the plan". we make adjustments and make the best of whatever the situation happens to be. What I understand when situations show up that weren't anticipated is that it is time to either stop, slow down or speed up.

Stopping

Stopping may not appear to be obvious to us all the time. The reality is when it's time to stop, there really is nowhere else to go. There is nothing that brings profit by continuing. There are no signs of possibility. Things have come to a halt. Now I must say this. All situations are subject to change. Even when we stop, we need to prepare to re-engage at some point to get back in the swing of things. But when the game changes and it's time to stop be sure to stop.

Slowing Down

Slowing down is a little bit different. Things on the horizon look to be troubling but not enough to stop. There are still signs of profit. There are still signs of possibility. And although things may be creeping along the game is still on. If you haven't come to a complete halt and it doesn't look like stopping is necessary just slow down a bit and prepare to re-engage at full speed real soon.

Speeding Up

Speeding up is probably the most fun I have a business owner. This is when things are looking exceptionally good. Clients are buying right on the spot. Referrals are coming out of the wood works. Business is hitting on all eight cylinders. Life is just absolutely good. Speeding up is making sure we capture all the potential business that is near us and then some. Speeding up is about "getting it while the getting is good." The key here is not to stop working or slow down but to move full speed ahead until it's time to stop or slow down.

78. Be Better Don't Be Cut Throat

Simply put, being better in this economy is making sure you are prepared to serve the client the first time correctly. There is no time to make mistakes. Contrary to some beliefs of people, just because some sales people get more business than others doesn't mean they are "cut throat." They are simply providing more solutions to problems their clients have.

Being better means taking the time to dig out the details of true desires the client has. It takes a professional to ask the tough questions in a pleasant way. Beating around the bush with a "pansy Annie attitude" will just turn clients off. There is so much stress going on in the lives of people today that they need sales people who function with a "iron fist with a velvet glove". Soft on the outside and tough on the inside gets the job done. There is no time to back off being Mr. Nice guy or Mrs. Nice lady. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying we shouldn't be nice. I'm saying we can not and should not be wimps. Our clients don't need wimps.

Be better than your competitor. Don't be cut throat. Be better than you've been in the past. Be a man or woman who's sole intention is to get the job done right the first time.

We are in a season where only the strong will survive. I believe many of those who thought they were strong will find themselves analyzing their inner strength. This is more of an inside game than anything else. It's not all about knowledge. It's about belief in self and God. It's about having a philosophy that is predetermined when you show up in the clients living room. And here's the clincher. The client knows you mean business from the first time they meet you.

Please don't get me wrong here. I am not saying you have to have a specific personality to be better and not be cut throat. You can be exactly who you are but the key is being better. In order to be better you have to find a way go get better. Learn all you can about being a better you and the knowledge you have regarding your industry will be complimented so much that people will think of you in an entirely different light.

Looking forward to meeting the better you,

79. But You're Not My Client

It's always good to get that first call of the day when it's a client who is calling to say "yes. we are ready to do business." But what about that dreaded call when a client that's not even your client calls screaming and hollering "I'm through with you people. I've had enough and I want to cancel right now."

By now you guessed it. This morning my first call from a gentleman who asked for my by name and began to describe his situation. He had mailed in a cancellation form and his membership hasn't been canceled. All the while I was pondering "is this one of my clients?" His name doesn't seem to ring a bell. As I continued to listen I realized he had the wrong person but I was wondering how he got my name.

The wonders of being popular on the Internet has its advantages but today I discovered one of the disadvantages. The gentleman who wasn't my client Googled my company name and my name and there I was. Not the person he was looking for obviously but non the less I was the guy who showed up online and he wasn't taking no for an answer.

As he continued to talk I calmly let him know that I thought he had the wrong person. None of that seemed to register because all he was focused on was getting his membership canceled. So I said to him, can you hold for a moment. As I gathered my thoughts I came back to the phone and said let's do this. Let's get the customer service on a three way phone call and we'll get it handled.

What came next was pure magic. When the customer service rep got on the line of course the first person didn't have authorization to handle this man's situation. The customer service manager then gets on the phone to yet give the same answers as the customer service rep. I knew this wouldn't end up good if this guy had to jump through one more hoop.

Here I am on the phone with a man who isn't my client and a customer service manager who isn't giving an inch and there is no record of a cancellation on file. What was I to do? Why am I involved with this deal anyway? There seemed to be a stale mate and the non-client who has now become my potential worse night mare is madder than a wet hen and the manager just didn't seem to have a clue about how to resolve the situation. So here's what I did. I interrupted the conversation and just asked "is there a record of Mr. Non-Client's email requesting to cancel?" Mr. Non-Client said he had a copy and the manager said she had a copy. Now we seemed to be getting somewhere. So very simply I said can we just get this resolved right now via email. Mr. Non-Client and the manager finally agreed and the cancellation was handled by email and I was a witness to them both saying they received the appropriate emails.

The moral of the story is even when a client isn't your client, do what you can to help them. If nothing else you'll feel better and leave a positive taste in their mouth in spite of a negative situation. It's OK for for a client to not be satisfied even when there are millions of people who love your products and/or services. We have to honor their decision. Mr. Non-Client in this case was extremely apologetic to me for getting me involved. He did realize I was the wrong person but was extremely thankful that I took the time to help him. Of course I asked him to give me a call personally if he ever decided to reinstate his membership. His words were, "you are the only one I would call, you're a real credit to your company. Thanks so much Cedric. You really didn't have to help me but you did"

It was worth it,

80. New Careers Sought By Many

There is more to be considered about the economy than our egos. Sales is an industry where our egos can be stroked so we feel so great about ourselves that we would never dream of making a change for fear of being labeled a failure.

Failure is doing the wrong thing long past the time you were warned that it's over. For many people in the sales arena, it's over. What I mean is that it's time to move on to something else. It might very well be that they will still be in sales but selling something different. Sometimes it's tough to determine when it's over because we try to remain positive throughout the tough seasons. Change is an inevitable thing in every profession. And the fact of the matter is that change will be necessary for some in the sales arena that you are involved with. It might not mean that you will be making a change. But it is certainly time to realize that some of our associates will be making a change and it will hurt not to see them with us in the trenches.

What we can do as we see our associates make a change is help them make their transitions as smooth as possible. We can help them with contacts we have in our data base. We can help them with introductions to business owners who can help them gain employment in a new career. We can do a lot to help our fellow associates in transition while at the same time helping ourselves become known for being there in a time of trouble for those in trouble.

This season does not have to be a drab one. It can be one of prosperity for many who will keep their hearts receptive to how they can help and be helped. It's not a time for those in transition to spite the the industry that they are leaving. Nor is a time for those who are succeeding to gloat because of their success. In the end we all need each other. Let's be there for one another and make this tough economic season one to remember from a positive perspective because we chose to help no matter what.

Here to help,

81. Our Approach to Life

It's time to keep our chins up and our hearts lifted. Our approach to life in these tough times says a lot about who we really are. No matter how tough things get a man or woman's true character shines through even when they are squeezed tighter and tighter.

It has been said that "tough times help to shape our character." I believe our character might be shaped a little during tough times but the reality is that "our character is shaped primarily by the little things that seem inconsequential." Seemingly inconsequential things can be irritants. But the man or woman who pays attention to them is shaping their character day by day.

Our approach to life is learned by a series of life events that add up to where we are today. Not one of us just woke up with a great attitude. Not one of us just woke up with a stellar character. Not one of us woke up with wisdom. It all happened as a result of paying attention to detail along the way of life. Our approach to life has been a matter of taking the events of life one moment at a time, one day at a time.

Keep approaching life like the champion you are.

82. Be Thankful For Those We Work With

As we approach Thanksgiving I have been thinking about what I'm really thankful for. Of course I'm thankful for my family, my health, my well being and most definitely my relationship with the Lord. As I pondered all that I am thankful for I thought about those I work with. Without them business would be so much more challenging.

I am thankful for:

*the people who work in the various offices who serve our business because they make my transactions go smoothly

*my fellow sales personnel because they keep me motivated to do my best

*the vendors we work with because they provide services and products to make my job easier

*the salespeople who give me referrals because they help me help more clients

*the salespeople I am able to help because they allow me to sow positivity into their lives

*my clients because they help me stay gainfully employed while allowing me to help them meet their needs

*lastly, Active Rain because it's given me a neat platform to make connections with some really neat people

Take a moment and tell us who you are thankful for among those you work with

83. The Danger of Your Sense of Urgency

For years sales trainers have been telling us "you gotta have a sense of urgency or your prospects won't buy." And what did most of us do? We mustered up the greatest sense of urgency we could. Believe me I was in the front of the line.

Let me tell you what I discovered about having a sense of urgency in sales. I found that the more my prospects felt my urgency the less I would sell. For months I would express the urgency for my prospects to get on board before it was too late. I would tell them that they would lose out if they didn't act now. I would share with them that the price is expected to go up and they would definitely have to pay the higher price if they didn't act now. You name it I tried it. The only thing was it was all to no avail. When it did work, I found my clients canceling after they cooled down after the sale.

Urgency is an interesting thing when it comes to customers. I'll use myself as an example. About 18 months ago I got the new care fever. I've been wanting a Mercedes Benz for about 10 years but I felt the time just wasn't right. Every time I went to the dealer to look at a Mercedes, the salespeople would all express a sense of urgency that really turned me off. Consequently I never bought the Mercedes. In two distinct shopping experiences in the last 10 years I went to my old dealership and bought another Dodge.

Just about 16 months ago I went to another Mercedes Benz dealership "on a mission" to get my Mercedes. This time things were different. I had the sense of urgency this time. All the salesperson had to do was show me what I wanted to see and follow my lead. What I discovered was that it was my urgency that made the sale.

Here's my point. When we work with prospects, it is not our responsibility to push them to a place of having a sense of urgency but rather discern how urgent they are and flow with them. When a prospect shows up with a sense of urgency, we will never be accused of manipulating them to do something they didn't intend on doing. While our own sense of urgency can get us in trouble at times, just remember that the urgency of a prospect is much better than our own in the sales process. They key for us as salespeople is recognizing the level of urgency our prospects have.

Until next time,

84. Stumble Your Way to Yes In Sales

You have no doubt heard that all you have to do is be persistent. "Just stay in it to win it. Just stay in the game and you'll win. Success is inevitable to those who persist. Winners never quit and quitters never win." There are tons of quotes like these that inspire us to continue in tough times.

Have you ever thought that though you stumble in your prospecting and your presentation that you could actually stumble your way all the way to yes? Well you absolutely can. Let me give you an example. Several months ago I wrote an article and somehow a person not even part of this network got a hold of it and called me to ask me a few questions. You talk about stumbling, I really stumbled with this one. While I was doing my due diligence to find out which network they saw my article in, I totally turned the person off because of my seemingly (at least to them) pointless questions.

The act of stumbling for me in the case of this prospect (who did become a client by the way) was asking too many questions and not listening enough. Finally when I did get the clue that this person really had no idea where they found my article. They just came across it and they were impressed to call me based on the content.

If my first act of stumbling wasnt' enough, wait to you hear this. I lost the person's contact info so I couldn't call back as I promised I would with the answer to their question. I was thankful that this prospect overlooked my fist stumble but I was certain that they would just write me off when I didn't call them back as I had promised. That's what I would have done if it happened to me.

You won't believe this but after about three days I got an email from the prospect which included their phone number. Here's the funny part, they were emailing me to apologize saying how much of a flake I must have thought they were because they gave me the wrong phone number. I would love to tell you that I fessed up and said I lost the phone number they gave me but I didn't...lol.

Stumbling into your way to yes may not happen like this for me all the time. But what this experience taught me was to keep the faith until I get an answer. Yes might very well be that answer. I assumed "no" because of my stumbling and bumbling.

We never know how things will turn out so we should always keep moving forward even if we are stumbling. At least we will be moving toward yes.

85. The Importance of Your Marketing Message

We have all thought at one point, "what's the use...nobody sees my marketing content or my ads anyway." Have you ever thought these thoughts or something similar? If you have this article might be for you. Those who are serious about sales of any product or service know that sales just don't come by mere luck. It's about preparation and hard work. It's about being in front of the right people with our message. The moment we stop putting our message in front of the people who need and/or want our products and/or services we have just hung ourselves.

Marketing is keeping current and prospective clients aware that we are well able and available to assist them when they are ready. The moment we ease up on our marketing message, people begin to wonder just how serious we are. The moment we back off on what we have declared to be of great importance to our clients and prospective clients, they begin to wonder if we are still around.

Marketing is one of the key cornerstones in thriving market and an absolute cornerstone in an declining market. In a thriving market we have to distinguish ourselves from the mass marketers so we can stay ahead of the game. In a declining market we have to distinguish ourselves from other seasoned pros who are doing their best get our share of the market.

If you have a marketing message do everything you can to remind yourself to stay on point. The seasons may change and your message may change slightly but the reality is that you want your clients and prospective clients to know you are there saying the same thing you've always been saying and providing the same quality you've always provided.

Your marketing message is in essence your calling card. People remember you because of what you have said and what others have said about you. When the two match up consistently you know you have a message that will penetrate the hearts of people in good times and tough times.

In closing, we are in a season when we have to know that we will be on point and get the job done no matter what. We are in business to help our prospective clients with their needs, wants and desires. One of the best ways to do that is to remain consistent with our marketing message. It's up to us to get our others to boost our reputation in the marketplace and we do that with a consistent marketing message.

It's never to late to start if you've been off track. And if you are on track, God bless you for making it a point to stay consistent. In either case make your marketing message something that is apart of your daily conversation.

Stay in the game,

Ced Reynolds

86. Recruit, Recruit, Recruit - Leverage Your Income in Business

Why do brokers and small business owners recruit, recruit, recruit?

Have you ever thought about why some brokers and small business owners recruit so much and others don't?

There is something to recruiting that you need to know. Here's the word, "leverage." Most brokers and small business owners recruit to expand their business without having to do all the work themselves. I am sure you would agree that having more people working for you is smart provided you can train them to be the best they can be. There is one challenge though. Once some salespeople become good, they get this strange idea that it's time for them to take advantage of leveraging their income. The concept is awesome but there is a big difference between being a salesperson and being a broker or business owner. I mean a big difference! Not all salespeople should be brokers just like not all brokers should revert back to being salespeople.

The reality is that as long as brokers have salespeople they will have a need to recruit because salespeople come and go no matter what. Some go on to different companies. Some go on to start their own companies. And some go on to do entirely different things.

Recruiting is important for various reasons:

1. To build your sales team

2. To find sales managers

3. To discover who you will spend time with

4. To identify your potential competition

5. To stay ahead of your competition

6. To leverage your income

7. To sort out the best candidates

8. To increase your knowledge base

9. To keep current salespeople on their toes

10. To build your data base

When we stop recruiting we fall into a false sense of reality. Things are subject to change. Recruiting keeps us in the flow so that when things do change we are able to flow with the change without having to play the "starting over game."

OK, Ced but what about the economy? Somebody is going to sell Real Estate. Will it be you or someone else. It's a recruiters market. The more we have on our team, the more we can offer what is available.

Recruit, recruit, recruit and you can do it in any order you choose to.

p.s. The great thing about my business is that those I recruit are recruiters also. When they choose to leverage their income it benefits me also.

87. I am Sold on Social Networking - It is like Social Equity

Being sold yourself is of great importance when we utilize social networking in business. There is an acronym that says, "iasm stands for I am sold myself" In fact I think this is true about anything we hope to share with others.

If you can ever get excited about something, getting excited about helping people attain their goals should be high on the list. Our enthusiasm just spills onto people and is very contagious. Can you imagine an unenthusiastic person trying to offer help to somebody? The person with enthusiasm has a tremendous advantage.

One thing I must tell you is we ought not be fooled about enthusiasm. Everybody shows it in a different way but no matter how it is shown it is contagious. I have come across people who were not so overt but they expressed a degree of enthusiasm that just captivated my attention. Then I have come across people who are were extremely bubbly but they really didn't convey they were genuinely enthusiastic. Enthusiasm comes from the core of our being. It is not something we can fake for long. For me I have to be able to say "I am sold myself."

I want to encourage you in your business endeavors to be sold on social networking. Believe me it is not a waste of time. We are in the people business and people need each other in various ways. Find yourself getting sincerely involved with your business associates and clients. You will not be disappointed. The relationships we develop over time are assets in our business and our personal life. It is like having "social equity".

Remember this. Being purposeful about social networking will cause us to reach out beyond our comfort zone. Take a moment and call a client to give them an update and let them know your plans. Take a moment to contact a business associate to give them a lead. Take a moment and reach out today on purpose and develop your social equity.

Are you ready to reach out beyond your comfort zone?

88. The New Word of Mouth - Online Social Networking and Media

Things are getting faster, better and more profitable because of the new word of mouth. Are you in the online social networking game? Did you know that using Active Rain and other social network media can get people following you and eventually calling you? Well it most certainly can.The key is being in the game. What I mean is writing content that gets people to want to investigate what you are saying. It amazes me that all over the internet in the various social networks I belong to that the the same people follow me from place to place. I noticed this when I caught myself following certain people from network to network.

Social networking is more than just a fad. It is a way of connecting and finding out about people who you might consider connecting with for whatever reason. This is not just a youth thing. This is a way of life thing. We just witnessed the greatest social network campaign in the history of the United States in our recent elections. Do you think that our President Elect's campaign team was just guessing things might just work out. These folks knew exactly what they were doing and who they were targeting.

I want to tell you one thing. Get good at social networking before it's too late. As much as many of us here on Active Rain are happy with our ranking among ourselves, we have to realize there is a world who is just waiting to read what you have to say. The key is knowing how to make your Active Rain content rain in the rest of the world you want to reach.

Just watch how social media is growing at warp speed. If you can write, write a lot. If you can talk, talk create an internet talk show. If you like the camera, start adding video to your blog. This stuff is changing the marketing game in a big way. You might be saying, I do things the way I do it and that's it. That's perfectly OK. My point here is if you want to see word of mouth work well for you, take it to the next level. Get people talking about you the way you want them to talk about you.

We are in an era of major change. I mean major change!!! Can you sense it?

89. Why Great Career Plans Don't Always Pay Off

Let's face it. Not all people were meant to be in sales. A great career plan can will go haywire if it's not meant to be. I know it is very alluring and the pay off seems to be well worth the effort. The reality is if sales was an easy career to be involved with everybody would be doing it. It's really not true that all a person has to do is learn everything about a product or service and you can sell it.

A sales career needs to be treated like a business. Of course we learn as much as we can about our product or service. But one of the keys that is often underlooked is our philosophy. Our way of thinking about "why we do, what we do, with who we serve makes a world of difference."

How many well intentioned nice people have you seen who just can't seem to sell anything? They do all the right stuff and still find themselves struggling. I'm not talking for a few months, I'm talking about for years. Oh yeah, there is that person who breaks out of the pack from time to time. But for the most part many of these well intentioned nice people never get past below average. They try and try and try. They get trained. They work hard. They work long. They do everything they are supposed to do with limited results.

It might sound like I'm being pretty negative here. I think you would agree with me that it is much better for every person to "fit in where they fit." If we keep trying to fit a "round peg in a square hole" we will have the same problems all the time.

Those who breakthough the "I can't sell anything syndrome," have a philosophy that says "if it's to be it's up to me." They have more than a positive mental attitude. They have a philosophy of life that is deep to the core of their being and they don't receive anything else that is contrary to their philosophy.

Here's the question for you. Where is your great career plan taken you?

90. Admitting What You Don't Know

Certainly we all do our best to be the best we can be. But let's face it, we don't know everything. At least I know I don't know everything. For years as a younger sales person I used to think I had to know it all. I believed this so much that I would fake like I knew what I was talking about with my prospects and fellow sales associates.

The interesting thing about faking it is that the people who know more than we do will know right off that bat that we're faking it. Oh, they may not say anything but believe me they know. I used to hear the saying "fake it til you make it" as I was getting started in sales. To this day I wish I never heard this statement. Thank God a seasoned veteran in sales got a hold of me and helped me understand that it is OK to say, "I don't know but can I find out and get back with you" These words were so liberating. I had finally reached a point of not having to put so much pressure on myself to be the end all be all sales guy.

Admitting what we don't know has some great advantages:

1. We relieve ourselves from unnecessary pressure of having to have all the answers

2. We put our clients at ease because they don't think we're a know it all

3. We get the opportunity to learn from our colleagues

4. We experience a more natural maturation process

5. We will eventually become a mentor to others because we've been there and done that

Talk about being a free man! I'm a free man today because I don't hesitate to ask others for assistance on my behalf and on behalf of my clients.

91. A Good Reputation is Hard to Keep

What are people saying about you. I mean what are the people in your industry, your, clients, your prospects, your family, I mean everybody. What people say about you is how you build your reputation.

We can have the best product or service in the world but if our reputation is tarnished, people will pass on buying our product or using our service. Believe me a bad reputation is easy to get but a good one is hard to keep.

What we do to keep our good reputation depends on:

1. How much we beleive in ourselves

2. How much we believe in our industry

3. How much we believe in our company

4. How much we believe in our co-workers

5. How much we believe in our clients

When our belief is high in the areas I mentioned, our accompanying actions will lead to providing the best service to our clients. One of the key things about people who know they have a good reputation is they don't rely on themselves to bolster their reputation. They rely on others to do it for them.

But how do you get others to speak own your behalf?

Here's how I do it.

*I give people an opportunity to say it through blogs (mine and others).

*I give people an opportunity to say it through email.

*I give people an opportunity to say it through voicemail.

*I offer people the opportunity to say it in my referral process.

I basically look for every possible way to give people a platform to say good things about me so others can see it or hear it.

Look back over your blog responses, email and voicemail and I can almost gurantee you that people have said good things about you. In fact you might just find something good I have said about you.

Keep your good reputation,

Although we are in business to let people know how we can help them, sometimes the testimonies of others say it best. Take a moment to share a few of your testimonies on my blog.

This letter is being written to you as a big THANK YOU for the great service you provided me.

To reiterate, I phoned you last January about a problem that I had with a lemon car that I had purchased from (an auto dealership). Last May, I had written them a letter requesting a replacement for this lemon vehicle. Both (the dealership) and (the auto maker) had ignored the letter.

Within 16 days of your writing your letter, (the auto maker) responded with a letter stating that they were anxious to exchange this vehicle for another of my choice. My wife selected a brand new Expedition with custom paint, custom wheels and a custom grill plus a lot of other goodies.

Thanks again for a wonderful job.

I am very please of being a member of your legal services. I did ask you several times to guide me regarding many legal matters. You did your best in answering my questions. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Thank you for connecting us with Pre-Paid Legal. We chose the Business Owners Legal Solution Plan and have been thrilled with the response and service that we have received. The friendly folks at (my provider firm) always returned our calls within several hours and were knowledgeable and courteous with their assistance.

We have used them to review a number of our contracts; both to our clients as well as from our vendors. When we call for help we are able to speak with a staff attorney or referred out to one of the many local attorneys right here in San Diego.

The GoSmallBiz.com website is a wealth of resources. There are lots of documents online that can be used as a starting point. They can be reviewed by the PPL staff and edited to more closely match our purposes.

Thank you again for your assistance with this great service.

I purchased a laptop from a national chain store that proved to be defective, but the store would not take it back and instead accused me of damaging the laptop. I wrote letters and made many phone calls and visits to the store all to no avail. Then I called (my provider firm) who contacted the store.

That got the ball rolling and three days ago I finally received an E-mail from the storeÂ’s attorney that I would be receiving a check by UPS for $1,547- which is the entire sum I paid for the laptop.

Thank you, thank you, thank youÂ…

93. 5 Reasons Why You Should Keep Social Networking

Perhaps you have heard the statement, "people make the world go round." People are the essence of social networking. But just what does a person do when they are doing their best and things just do not seem to be working out?

It is amazing how huge a challenge seems when we are living through it. It seems as though it will never come to can end. We must remember that seasons come and go and so do challenges. What might seem like an extended season of "dumpsville" it is just a season. It came and it will go. Nothing lasts forever as much as it seems like it will.

So here you are in the season of your life where you are doing all you can do and your best efforts keep you coming up on the short end of the stick. You are doing all the right activity. You are spending tons of money. You are connecting with all the right people. Yet there just does not seem to be that breakthrough you have been anticipating. What do you do? Keep social networking.

Here is why you should keep social networking:

1. To stay connected with people

2. To keep your offering in front of the eyes and ears of others

3. To establish a sense of reliability in your mind and in the mind and others

4. To increase your favor in working large numbers

5. To prepare yourself for the new season that is coming

One of the most genuine activities we can ever be involved in is social networking. We have to remember that if we are not connecting with people we limit our chances of getting through the season of "dumpsville." This is when we have to breakthrough in our philosophy of life. We have to decide to keep the decision we made when we first stated to pursue success. Even when things look glim, we have to stick to our guns. The decision we made when we had a great attitude and tremendous hope is a major factor in concluding the season we are in and moving to the next one.

94. Better to be Good than Lucky at Social Networking in Business

OK, every once in a while it is a good thing to be lucky. But it is a much better thing to be good at social networking than rely on luck. An approach that is consistent and genuinely beneficial for the parties involved is a much better way to network.

Networking does come fairly easy to some. But to most it is a learned skill. I must say it a skill that takes continual learning. It is not that the game is changing so much. The key is we have to continue to learn to keep reminded and further sharpen our networking skills.

1. Learning helps us gain knowledge we do not have about social networking.

2. Learning helps us regain knowledge we have forgotten about social networking.

3. Learning helps us stay sharp in areas we need to be the best social networkers we can be.

4. Learning increases our confidence regarding social networking.

5. Learning keeps us humble regarding our social networking skills.

Get good at social networking. Being lucky is just not reliable...lol

By becoming a good social networker you can assure yourself that the relationships you build will be genuine. The more genuine relationships we develop, the more opportunity we will have to get ourmessage out.

Special Note: When relationships are developed properly, the people in your network will become your best referral sources.

95. Make Social Networking Effective in your Business by Understanding Keywords

Yesterday I was on the phone, I was on-line and I made connections with people offline. You would have to say my day was filled with social networking. Although some of my conversations seemed to be just chit chat, believe me they weren't. My purpose for connecting with anybody is to listen for keywords in their conversation to find out how I might be able to help them. This doesn't mean I disregard everything else they say. It's just a normal conversation but I have trained my ears to pick up keywords.

Let me share with you about how I train my ears to pick up keywords:

1. I profusely saturate myself with product knowledge which makes my ears sensitive to keywords about the benefits our products offer.

2. I constantly connect with other professionals in my business to pick up new keywords.

3. I make it a point to pay attention to testimonials. They are always filled with keywords.

Understanding the keywords associated with your business makes it a lot easier to recognize when you have a good prospect or not. It is especially good to know keywords so you can influence the conversation with the words spoken by your prospects and/or clients.

When we are speaking the same language (keywords) as our prospects and/or clients they tend to relate with us more. After all all we're doing is communicating with them in a way that is favorable to them.

Make Social Networking Effective in your Business by Understanding Keywords.

96. Observations of Justice

This blog will be a little different than my normal blogs but it will certainly be worth your while.

Over the years I have noticed many people in the church I pastor experience things I could virtually do nothing about. They come to me for prayer and counsel expecting to get an answer to their challenge only to go away having been prayed for and hoping that their challenge would some how miraculously be dealt with. Do'nt get me wrong, I believe in miracles and have seen a few in my lifetime.

The point I'm making isn't really about prayer or my faith or the faith of those who come to me. It's about how being practical when it comes to practical things. In this case I'm talking about legal challenges. Believe it or not I have seen more people troubled with legal challenges that had no clue what to do in the last several years than I would have ever imagined.

Here are a few examples:

1. A business owner in our church has major debts that need to be collected and he had to get an attorney to get his customer to finally get off the dime.

2. An elderly couple had their identity stolen and had to get an attorney only to find out that at the end of 6 months there was nothing the courts could do. By the way they spent a bunch of money.

3. Another elderly lady had a dispute with her insurance company so she had to get an attorney to get the insurance company to act right.

4. A father and son investment team in our church had to get an attorney to go to court against a contractor who refused to do the job he promised he would do.

5. A couple in our church had to get an attorney because their Vet failed to disclose a health condition their cat had that led to the death of their cat.

6. Another business owner in our church had to retain an attorney because his former partner embezzled money.

7. A young couple had their tenant move out unannounced and didn't know what to do. They should have gotten an attorney.

These are real examples that have happened in the last year in a small church. There are numbers of other situations that have occurred that would require the counsel of an attorney. All of these people ended up paying lots of unnecessary money to get in most cases less than stellar results.

Justice shouldn't just be for the well to do. It should be for all people. For the most part when it comes to seeking justice because of the events of life we tend to not look to call an attorney until it's almost to late. The reason in most cases is because we know it's not going to be cheap.

That's not the case anymore. There is a solution. Talking with an attorney regarding life events has been made more painless than any of the 4 major insurances you own. In fact when your insurance company fails to perform what you expect, you can have your own legal counsel on standby.

Justice is for All

Psalm 25:9
The humble He guides in justice,And the humble He teaches His way.

Psalm 37:28
For the LORD loves justice,And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.

Psalm 103:6
The LORD executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed.

97. Second Look ideas from people who practice it

Recently I posted a blog on Getting your clients to take a second look. This stuff works for more people than just me.

Take a look at the comments.

Great points Ced! We always like to stress a different time of day to take a second look at a property. Sometimes afternoon light and morning light will give a house completely differing personalities.

You have the gift! I beleive in no pressure. You wont like what you get if pressure is how you think you will earn business. Earn is the key word, and you seem to understand that.Thank you for the blog!-Dinah

10/19/2008 11:05 AM by Dinah Lee Griffey (Windermere Peninsula Properties)

Sometimes those second looks excite the client or they start ripping the home apart. I like to take notes, then when we get through the whole place try to really look at what the fear and complaints are with the property, deal with those issues, then foucs on the positive.

I have to admit that it can always improved and I am willing to learn from experts like yourself.

10/19/2008 11:19 AM by Timothy Butterworth (Oregon Realty company)

Cedric,

I tried this same approach yesterday with a potential buyer. I was cleaning up one of our rental properties yesterday and this woman simply stopped by to see if this house was available...she loved the neighborhood...and was "selling herself" on the house...sometimes it's important to have that "laid back-nonpushy" attitude and let THEM talk themselves into purchasing or renting...I expect her to call me back today! Wish me luck...

98. Time to talk about the Elephant in the Room
When it comes to talking about the obvious, sometimes we do everything we can not to be the one who brings it up. Why is that? In business it's customary that professionals disclose everything necessary that pertains to a transaction. That should be a given. But sometimes we overlook stating the obvious for two reasons.

Fear is a big factor why we fail to talk about the elephant in the room. When we at the close of a tough transaction that has had a lot of complications who wants to bring up a potential deal breaking detail. Fear will cause us to do the wrong thing that leads to a more trouble than we can ever imagine. Talk about the elephant.

Inexperience just comes with the territory. When we are inexperienced we tend to hope others take the lead. Well inexperience only lasts for so long. Take the initiative and talk about the elephant.

A small elephant has become a big elephant in the last several years. It is identity theft coverage. We have clients who have just made the biggest purchase of their lives and their personal non-public information has been exposed to more people than they could imagine. This is a big elephant that needs to be talked about.

One last thing. What do you do when you don't know what to say about the elephant in the room? Point to the person who has been trained to speak specifically about the elephant. Move past the fear and don't let inexperience stop you from exposing that elephant. Your clients see the same elephant and they don't know what to do, but you do...

99. Beware of the Sue Happy People
The US is already sue happy. I just wonder if there will be more lawsuits since the economy is putting the pinch on people in every imaginable situation. As money is getting tighter will people be forced to utilize legal recourse to keep what they believe if rightfully theirs?

If there are more lawsuits will the people getting sued include Realtors and mortgage brokers? This could be a big deal since there are so many frivolous law suits. You may be a Realtor or mortgage broker who has been upright and forthcoming in your dealings. You may be a Realtor or mortgage broker who has covered all the things that would prevent an E&O claim. But what would you do if a former client who is in a quandry with their mortgage and is in a home whos value has declined dramatically all of a sudden decided to sue you for what ever reason?

One of the things to think about is even the defendants who win law suits lose because of the enormous amount of money that is put out to protect their interest. In the climate of our economy it wouldn't surprise me that there are people in such weird states of mind that they won't settle on going down by themselves.

On a closing note, we need to remember that we don't have to do anything wrong to be sued. But if we want to keep what we've worked hard for we have to defend ourselves even against frivolous law suits. People do strange stuff in strange times. Desperation causes the most sane and seemingly rational people do things that they normally wouldn't do. Lastly, hurt people hurt people.

Beware Realtors and mortgage brokers. Do what you can to protect yourself from the fear filled people who are grabbing for straws (your money).

101. This guy says we have less than 15 years left
This guy says we have less than 15 years left

Either this guy is crazy or he's a genius. Several years ago I came across the teaching of Mark Yarnell. At first I thought he was quite ecentric. The more I've listened to him over the years and especially during financial melt down we've been recently faced with, I think he may be on to something.

Love to get your thoughts on his 10 minute audio on why he believes our economy as we know it has less than 15 years left. By the way he doesn't just talk about the problem. He talks about what he and others have been doing for over 20 years that has given them financial security in the years to come.

102. New Ministry Addition of Small Biz Prayer Network
New ministry addition of Small Biz Prayer Network

During the time I've been involved with the Small Biz Prayer Network there has always been this tug to go directly to business owners and pray with them. Don't get me wrong, I have done just that but it's been more hit and miss.

Today I want to let you business owners who are in the Inland Empire know that I will be coming to you to pray with you for your business. For those of you who are part of the network just call and I'll put you on my schedule to pray with you.

The days that we are living in is certainly a time for business owners to continue to offer the services and products your offer. More than that it is a time to minister in the marketplace like never before. Your clients, your employees, your vendors need peace. You already know I'm not talking about the peace that the world gives. The peace of God has to rule in the hearts of the believer more today than ever before.

In closing, I need your help. If you can begin to pray for your fellow business associates, that would do a world of wonders to soften their hearts to hear God regarding being more bold for Jesus during these tough economic times.

My prayer for you today is that the Lord would use you to do the work of an evangelist to make full proof of your ministry. Believe it or not, you have been placed in a position of being a marketplace evangelist. I believe God has great plans for Christian business owners who will not be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.

Signing off for now...

Stay blessed,

103. Part 8 Workplace Identity Theft Nationwide
We all probably know by know that there really isn't a company that can totally prevent identity theft. It's just like we can't stop injuries that cause us to go to the hospital or having an accident in our motor vehicle. All we can do is do what we can to prevent identity theft, injuries and accidents.

Perhaps you are doing all you know to do to protect your clients identity. You do all the right things to store their information in password protected computers. You lock information in the best file cabinets. You make sure only the people who need to view your clients identity are the only people who see it.

Did you know that nearly 50% of identity theft happens in the workplace? It's absolutely amazing what pressure will cause a person to do. To use the information of a client can be an almost untraceable event. Of course those clients who have a credit monitoring service will be alerted. But what if the thief uses the identity for something else other than credit. A credit monitoring service does the client no good.

The fact that identity theft comes in mainly five different areas is something most people are not aware of. When a persons Character/criminal, drivers license, medical and/or social security identity is breached it takes an expertise the majority of us don't have. Having a lawyer in the family could be a good think if that's their specialty. But if not it's going to be 500 plus hours to get a persons identity restored.

Really, who has the time to invest 500 hours over and above our already busy lives? Here's a clue, help your clients, your office staff and your vendors get an identity theft plan that offers credit and identity monitoring, and a comprehensive restoration service. This way you'll be doing more than anybody else regarding workplace identity theft nationwide.

104. Nationwide Identity Theft -What people don't know

Did you know...

More than half of all households have a legal situation right now. —Legal Needs and Civil Justice Survey, published by the American Bar Association

Even law abiding Americans will encounter a legal situation an average of four to six times per year. —National Resource Center for Consumers of Legal Services

105. OK, my little secret is out

OK, you're probably wondering where I get all these free gifts. The reality is that I have just accumulated them over the years. Some I use more than others. But at some point they all have served to be of value to me in my business. The one I use the most, in fact everyday is the free directory listing. I give away a free business directory listing to at least two business owners everyday. It puts people into my data base who I want to get to know better.

If you're not sure you have received a free business directory listing from me, go to GoSmallBiz.com and search the directory section. All you have to do is type in your city and your state and you'll see the list of busineeses in your area and your business if I've listed you.

This particular tool is so non-threatening that no one has ever turned me down, at least not yet :) I give this listing away because the business owners who get listed on GoSmallBiz.com often go there and discover all the free services that are provided for business owners and they call me wanting to know more information. OK, my little secret is out. I'm not just giving away free business listings because I'm a nice guy. I do have business reasons as well.

Have you ever wondered why I give away so many free tools? "I give to receive to give again." In the end I always end up on the giving end which is a good thing. Providing my service to people is nothing more than giving people an opportunity to hear my story. Once they hear my story they decide if the story is something they want to be included in or not. It's really that simple. Even if people say no to my story, we part as friends because I find a way to give to them again somehow.

Can you imagine the number of people I've given business directory listings to? Literally hundreds of business owners all over America have received a business directory listing from me and welcome my phone calls, email, mail and personal visits. I've actually developed friends in almost every state. I don't want you to think that they are all my clients but I do want you to understand that I have distinguished myself from every other Prepaid Legal Associate they know in a huge way.

Somebody might be reading this blog saying, "why is he sharing his marketing secrets?" The truth is they aren't really secrets. The other truth is that most people won't do what I do anyway. Another truth is when you hear from me you'll know what to expect. Don't you do much better when you receive a call from somebody when you have an idea what they're going to say? Sure you do. Your guard is down because of the trust factor that's been built up. The trust factor is built up because of the like-ability of the person making the call. The like-ability of the person is built up because you've gotten a chance to get to know the person. It's the old adage, "people do business with people they know, like and trust."

Let's get to know each other. That's where it all starts.

Stay in it to win it,

Ced

106. Principaless Interest - is it real?
So many things are topsy turvy in the world today that people all over the world are looking for new ways to do old things. Gasoline is at an all time high, the housing market is falling through the basement, the world's economic system is crumbling, the status of marriage as it use to be is being threatened big time and the list goes on.

How has it challenged your thinking and your life. I ask about your thinking is because "as we think so are we." Today the person thinking on their feet will not have to fret during these tough times in our nation. What plan do you have to succeed in these days? Have you thought about how these tragic things will challenge your life if they hit home? It's time to start thinking about it and not just that but doing something.

107. What the freebie kings don't want you to know
So what's the big deal about giving away freebies? There are so many places where you can find freebies on the internet. The big challenge is that who do you trust to receive these freebies from. Chances are you'll be bombarded by spam in a very short time with no way of turning it off...

Here's something you might want to consider. Instead of being the one on the receiving end, become the one on the giving end. Just imagine people calling you to thank you for the freebies you gave them. Just imagine people emailing you back saying thank you. Just imagine people responding to your blog. Just imagine people who don't even respond to your blog but click through to receive the freebies. Who knows how many people do that.

Here's the big secret. The truth is professional marketers who give away freebies are not doing it just because they like giving away free stuff. They are actually developing a data base of highly targeted people who are potential prospects for their products and services.

There is a major factor that you need to be aware of about these professional marketers is that when you respond to their free offer, you are among literraly thousands of prospects. The marketers actually never see your information. It's loaded into an autoresponder that starts a email campaign that shows up in your inbox periodically until you stop it. Chances are you'll never here from these marketers because they are only focused on numbers. I'm talking about mass numbers. The goal is to accumulate a mass amount of targeted leads to be part of their data base.

Here's the other side of how people like me use freebies.

First of all I find freebies that are really valuable and I give them away to people who I can truly help with those freebies.

Second - I actually look to develop long term relationships with people so they will welcome my call or email.

Third - I am always looking for ways to help promote the businesses I network with via resources and referrals.

Fourth - I purpose to stay in contact either by email, blogging, phone calls and in person visits

Fifth - I receive personal referrals to give away freebies from people who use my freebies with success which ends up leading to legitimate business referrals for my business.

In nearly 100% of the time this system makes for a warm call instead of a cold call. People are open to receive my calls because they know the legitimacy of the free offers they have received from me. They also are more apt to ask me about my business as well as look to refer people my direction.

Old ways of relationship marketing are still very useful. They just take longer because the first contact by phone or in person is hit and miss. Using the internet appropriately makes for a faster way of connecting with people of like interest. Once the initial connection is made it's all about developing relationship.

Hope you found this helpful.

108. A Crusade or just Hype
Many of you don't know that my wife has been disabled for the last 18 years. She is on dialysis and wheel chair bound because of two strokes. I bring this to your attention to tie in a point of how I never thought of how important a person's data based identity is until she was unable to talk.

If you've ever tried to get concise answers to a question from someone who can't talk, you'll understand where I'm headed. There was a point when I had no clue who all the people she did business with. All these businesses had her non public information. What was so astonishing was how easy it was for me to access her information at hospitals, doctor's offices and most any business. Now I know I'm her husband but anybody can pose as a person's husband over the phone.

As I have been watching the news the last couple of years all I've heard is how older people are being taken advantage of because their identity was breached. Someone would call on the phone to their doctor, the hospital or some business that had their non public information and just give away their information.

I don't have to tell you but people are being taken advantage of everyday and their lives are being wrecked because someone else is using their identity. Getting back to my wife's situation. Thank God she has never had her identity stolen. But people in the same hospital and doctor's offices have had their identity stolen and seen their lives become a living hell.

I've been involved helping people protect their identity since 2005. For a fair amount of time it was just an opportunity to help other people and earn a living. As I continued in the business, it has really hit home that my wife's and my non public information is just as important to protect. Having coverage is great but making sure the people I do business with have a plan in place to protect my identity has become a crusade.

Ironically this crusade has caused me to become a magnet attracting people from all over the nation who are curious about how they can protect their identity and put a plan in place in their business. Many of these same people have joined the crusade by making sure the businesses they do business with have a plan in place that satisfies the Federal Trade Commission's Safeguard Rules.

109. Employer Protection of Your Non Public Information?
If you were to get involved with a company today you might want to make sure they have a good plan to protect your non-public information. What I mean is the company you consider working for should have an Security Information Officer who has constructed and oversees a written policy.

Data breach is becoming more prevalent not just in big companies like what we've heard on the news. It's happening in small companies as well. The problem is that most small companies don't have a clue that they are targets. Just think about it for a moment. Does your company have your drivers license information? What about your social security number? If you have insurance, do they have access to your medical identification? If you had a background check, do they have a copy of your criminal identification or your credit information?

Most people only think of identity in terms of their credit history. There are actually 5 areas of identity as I just mentioned above. Most companies have various forms of our identity on file. Did you know it's there responsibility to make sure it's protected? Even if you did, do you know if it is being protected?

Have you heard of an Affirmative Defense Response System? Does your company have one in place? "The Federal Trade Commission published a booklet "Protecting Personal Information: A Guide For Your Business" providing the steps to protect your business. These steps may be costly to your business to add protection but it will be financially devastating if you are caught without having a plan in place. Fines range from $1000 to $1,000,000 and jail time for corporate executives."

Something is definitely up and businesses have to do something about it. If your employer has put a plan in place to protect your personal information, you are in good shape. If they haven't, you might want to ask them what they plan on doing to protect your non public information. If they don't do anything, you can still protect yourself by subscribing to an identity theft plan.

Be happy to help you,

112. Don't you just hate getting traffic tickets?
On Sunday I was driving home and as customary I entered the left hand turn lane to make a left turn to enter my driveway. The difference on Sunday was there was an orange cone about 18 inches inside the left hand turn lane. A police officer was directing traffic as a clean up crew was just finishing up sweeping.

I don't know what I was thinking (I probably wasn't thinking) but I chose to enter between the cones (bad move Cedric) and wait in the left hand turn lane for the officer to give me the OK when to turn left. But nooooooo. There was another officer sitting in his vehicle that flashed his lights and hit his siren. I really didn't have a clue what he was doing. He got out of the car and was headed my direction. I still didn't have a clue. When he got to my window and motioned for me to roll down my window something told me I must have done something wrong (go figure).

I found out right away that I did something wrong. He asked me what I was doing. I politely said I was waiting to make a left hand turn. I can't tell you the additional terminology he used but entering the cones was a traffic violation when I finally understood what he was saying. What could I say? I did enter the cones.

What would you have done? Here's what I did. I asked the officer if I could call my attorney because I wanted to make sure he didn't violate my rights. He said go ahead. I did and actually it was good for me (to get calmed down) because by this time I was a little bit frustrated with this somewhat snotty officer. As I was talking with my attorney, his attitude did begin to change quite a bit. I thank God for my Legal Shield service. It allows me access to an attorney 24 hours a day if I'm ever detained by a law enforcement officer.

Here's the deal. I got a ticket. I didn't know if I could really beat it or not so I called my attorney Monday morning and received consultation. He let me know that it would be pretty hard. The advice he gave me since I have a good driving record was to just pay the ticket and opt to go to traffic school. Even though I will pay the ticket, I again am thankful for my Prepaid Legal membership. It allows me to get legal consultation about legal matters I'm not sure about.

To be on the phone with an attorney can cost quite a bit. I didn't have to worry about the cost because my membership takes care of times when I'm detained and in need of consultation. The moral of the story is it's better not to get traffic tickets but if you do be sure to have a Prepaid Legal membership. I didn't have any intention of doing something stupid on Sunday but I did.

115. California Legal Help -a Plan for Business Owners
What a time for small business owners. There has never been a time when they haven't needed to be protected like today. Oh I'm not just talking about being protected from thieves. I'm talking about legally. How many people do you know who think business owners have deep pockets?

Legal Help is extremely important "before" you actually need it. Many of us just play the "hope nothing happens" game. That day is over. It's more about when that if. It's more about when something will happen that could potentially be a challenge to our personal life and business. A business legal plan is imperative today because of the uncertainties we as business owners are faced with today.

Now if you happen to be one of the fortunate ones, you haven't had any legal challenges. That's awesome. But think of it this way. Would you be without medical insurance or automobile insurance? Absolutely not. We have insurances mainly for the uncertainties of life. We know that an automobile accident without automobile insurance is financial suicide. We know that a hospital stay for any reason can lead to major financial disaster. Think about this. What would happen if your business got sued? Could it lead to a big business challenge? I am convinced it could. That's why legal plans, espeically in California are so vital.

I don't want to hold you up here but do take some time to click on the links in this blog to find out more how you can protect your business.

On a closing note, we are currently looking for associates who have a heart for business owners to market our business legal plans. Please click here to find out about what we offer.

116. Legal Help and the Red Flag Rule
Here's an important article that will help small business owners navigate their way through the Red Flag Rules and Regulations.

Keywords Business Plans Prepaid Legal Legal Help

Red Flag Regs Alert:
It's Time to Start Planning
John S. Burnett, BOL Guru

New rules mandated by the FACT Act* requiring identity theft prevention programs and setting forth guidelines and requirements are about to be published. They implement Section 114 of the law and set forth certain "red flags" that may be indicative of identity theft. This article provides an overview of the final regs.

Effective and Mandatory Compliance Dates
The effective date for the regulations will depend on when they are finally published in the Federal Register. Once they are published, the regulations will be effective on the first day of the calendar quarter that is at least 30 days after publication. So, if they're published on or before November 30, 2007, they'll be effective January 1. If they appear in the Federal Register in December, they won't be effective until April 1, 2008.

Compliance will be mandatory beginning November 1, 2008, but don't let that make you complacent. Each day that your institution doesn't have an effective Identity Theft Prevention Program increases the odds that you'll be damaged by the theft and misuse of a customer's identity.

Program Content
Your Identity Theft Prevention Program must include policies and procedures to:
identify relevant Red Flags for your institution's covered accounts, and incorporate them into the Program. Your institution must start with the Guidelines in Appendix J of the regulation, and the list of Red Flags in its Supplement. You don't have to include all of the Red Flags in the Supplement, but you should have a valid reason for excluding any of them. Add to your list any other Red Flags based on your institution's experience with identity theft, regulatory guidance or from other sources. detect Red Flag events that have been included in your Program respond appropriately to detected Red Flag events, to prevent ID theft and mitigate its effects ensure that the Program is updated periodically, to reflect changes in ID theft risks to customers and your institution.

What is a Red Flag?
A Red Flag is a pattern, practice, or specific activity that indicates the possible existence of identity theft. There is a list of suggested Red Flags included in Supplement A to Appendix J of the regulations.

Who is Covered?
The Red Flag regulations and guidelines affect all financial institutions and creditors with covered accounts. "Creditor" includes anyone who arranges for the extension, renewal, or continuation of credit (following the definition in the Equal Credit Opportunity Act), which includes third-party debt collectors.

Who is Protected?
The group of customers whose identity is protected by the regulations and guidelines includes all customers with covered accounts. While the largest group of protected customers is consumers or individuals, the regulations are risk-based, and coverage is extended based on the type of account involved more than on the class of customer.

What Accounts Are Covered?
The regulations cover continuing deposit or credit relationships established by a person with a financial institution or creditor involving a product or service for personal, family, or household purposes, if the product or service is designed to permit multiple payments or transactions. Examples include credit card accounts, mortgage loans, installment credit, margin accounts, cell phone and other utility accounts (extensions of credit), checking and savings accounts. They also cover any other account (including those established for business purposes) where there is a reasonably foreseeable risk to a customer or the financial institution from identity theft. Financial institution risks include financial, operational, compliance, reputation, or litigation risks. The regulation covers both existing accounts and those in the process of being opened.

Part of the preliminary and ongoing responsibilities of a financial institution under the regulations will be to, on a risk basis, determine which types of accounts fall into the "other account" group for which there is foreseeable risk of ID theft.

Board Involvement
Your board of directors or an appropriate board committee must approve your initial Identity Theft Prevention Program. The board, a board committee, or an employee at a senior management level must be involved in the oversight, development, implementation and administration of the Program. The board is responsible for ensuring that your staff has appropriate training to implement the Program, and that the Program includes appropriate oversight of service provider arrangements.

Address Changes (Card Issuers)
The regulations include a requirement that you have policies and procedures to verify address changes for credit card or debit card holders if the address change is followed within 30 days (or a longer period established in your procedures) by a request for an additional card or replacement card for the same account. You can't issue the additional or replacement card until you've checked out the change of address with your cardholder, and provided your cardholder a reasonable means for promptly reporting an incorrect address change.

Your policies and procedures can provide for the verification of all address change requests. If you've already verified such a request before receiving a request for an added or replacement card, you need not verify the address a second time before issuing the card.

It's Time to Get Moving!
With the compliance deadline a short 12 months away, and evidence that examiners have already been asking financial institutions about their Red Flag programs, you should waste no time ramping up your planning for implementation. When planning backward from the November 1, 2008, deadline, make sure you allow time to present your proposed Program to your board of directors and make any needed adjustments before obtaining their final approval. Assemble your team to decide which accounts you will include in your initial plan for coverage, by assessing the risk of ID theft for each type of account you offer. Don't forget business accounts, particularly those of sole proprietorships and other small businesses.

Watch for guidance from regulators on any additional Red Flags that you should consider including in your Program. Also watch industry news reports, including BOL's weekly Tech Talk briefing, for ID theft developments that might suggest added ID theft risk for any of your customers or account types.

Don't forget time to identify steps that you will include in your Program as responses to any detected Red Flag events.

Each of the federal financial institution regulatory agencies (the Agencies) and the Federal Trade Commission will issue its own regulation in a joint announcement once all of the final approvals are received. Although some of the wording in the agency versions regulations will differ, the substantive provisions will be the same.

The agencies introduced proposed regulations on July 18, 2006, and received 128 comments. The regulations and guidelines are mandated by section 114 of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (FACT Act or FACTA) which requires financial institutions and creditors to develop and maintain a written Identity Theft Prevention Program. The Agencies are also issuing joint regulations under Section 315 of FACTA to provide guidance on action when a consumer reporting agency sends a notice of address discrepancy (see our Address Discrepancy article).

117. My Personal Legal Help Story
As much as I talk about legal help for everybody else, you would probably imagine I have a Prepaid Legal Membership. Well you're absolutely right. I wouldn't be without it.

Here's my story. A few months ago I made a purchase online with a very reputable company whose products I thoroughly enjoy. In this particular case the purchase I made online gave an option after the purchase to participate in a 14 day trial offer. I really didn't see the need but I couldn't locate any buttons that gave me the option to opt out while I was on the site. Oh the company was gracious enough to let me know there was no obligation and I could cancel anytime with the 14 day trial after I opted in. That's not what I wanted to do. So I didn't opt in. I just left the form and closed the window.

In about a month I received a phone call from a company sales representative letting me know I hadn't activated my account. I promptly let him know I didn't have an account and he said OK, sorry for the call. Just before he got off the line I asked him was I being billed and he promptly said no. So we hung up and I thought that was it. Guess what? I had the same conversation with another sales representative the following month. He also assured me that I wasn't being billed.

Here comes December 2007 and I get another call from a third sales representative. This time when I asked the question, "am I being billed," he said "absolutely," which put me in shock. Here I thought there was no issue and I had been being billed for the last 3 months. (By the way my secretary pays this particular credit card bill. She had no reason to think it was odd.) The sales representative put me in contact with customer service and long story short I was able to get one month's billing reversed. Of course I was grateful but I was not satisfied. I didn't try to make a stink about things, I just contacted my Prepaid Legal Attorney. Mind you this was only to recover $79.00. I know you're saying who calls an attorney to get $79.00 back? There was a time I would have argued and sent letters burning up my own precious energy to get what I thought was rightfully mine. Having a Prepaid Legal Membership just takes the load off. I know when I have a legal challenge all I have to do is pick up the phone and they'll handle things effectively and better than I would.

Here's the end of the story. The company received a letter from my attorney and immediately called me. As we talked they were quite kind as they asked how they could assist me. Yes I got the $79.00 back and the rest is history. All I'm saying here is whenever I need legal help, I know I have it. Could you say that? It's an amazing feeling knowing that I don't have to be taken advantage of.

That's my personal legal help story,

Ced Reynolds

118. Business Legal Help is Needed for Business Problems
Small business owners could be in a world of trouble if they were to get sued. They stand to lose substantially because it not only affects their business it may also affect them personally. They really do need legal help. Check the news paper and you'll see all the challenges that business owners are faced with. The law suits are over the top.

Even business owners who operate from home have to protect themselves. If they intteract with people in any way they have to protect themselves. If they ship products, they need to protect themselves. If they go to other businesses for any other reason, they have to protect themeslves. If they do business with other businesses they have to protect themselves.

What most business owners don't realize their responsibility they have to secure the personal information of their customers, vendors and employees. If something were to happen and some personal information a business owner had on file came up missing, who do you think would be responsible? It may not seem fair but the reality is business owners are responsible for more than just selling products and services. The administrative end of things have to be taken care of as well. That's where a Business Legal Plan comes in handy. Business owners interested in finding out more details should check out Wikipedia.org Good third party information is always a good way to evaluate a company.

Until next time,

119. The Federal Trade Commission and Legal Help
Legal help for business owners is needed more today than ever. Are you familiar with the Red Flag Rule? You might want to take some time investigating it. The Federal Trade Commission has some awesome information for business owners.

There has never been a time in history where the small business owner had to protect him/herself like big businesses do. Just the other day I was talking with the wife of a business owner in our church and she was saying her husband spends a lot of time in court. In fact he spends about a quarter of his working week in court.

Can you imagine having to fight a shady law suit? That's exactly what small business owners are faced with. People somehow think that because a person owns a business, they have deep pockets. What they don't know is most business owners are just one law suit away from bankruptcy.

I wouldn't dare just talk about the problem small business owners. There is a wonderful solution. It's Prepaid Legal Services. Prepaid offers help for small business owners like no other company. Just imagine having an attorney on retainer and not having to pay thousands of dollars a month. That's the advantage of Prepaid Legal. Even for a homebased business owners it's a good idea to have a Prepaid Legal membership.

After you visit the Federal Trade Commission's site take a moment to visit Prepaid Legal Services. You will be glad you did.

121. If only she had legal help
Siomething I've barely mentioned regarding legal help has been the trouble people have been having with the mortgage companies. What can a person do about the rising adjustable rate mortgages? Most do nothing. In fact I know a lady who saw the writing on the wall and just moved out of her home without even talking with an attorney. I'm not totally certain if an attorney would have been able to save her home because I'm not totally sure where she was in the process.

The point I'm getting at is that hard working people should never have to be in a position they walk away from their home. If this lady would have been rich, she most likely would have had an attorney on retainer. She wasn't so she just walked away not even giving the situation a fighting chance. We're talking about a $500,000+ home. It's simply fear of the unknown that causes a person to do things without obtaining legal help Do you know what you would do in a similar situation. Things wern't bad in her life. She just happened to get caught in a situation where her monthly mortgage increased and her income remained the same.

I have talked about what we've been seeing on the news lately. It's terrible that average Americans are having to completely abandon their lifestyles and their property to just get by. As always, my suggestion is to get a Prepaid Legal Membership.

122. They got legal help quick for a reason
Believe me when I say it's getting bad out there. The need for Legal help is being talked about more than ever before. Every night on the news legal situations come up. Just the other day a tiger mauled some kids at the Zoo. Guess what, the family now has a lawyer and are most likely looking to sue the Zoo. Go figure.

The truth is that those of us who have children never know what might happen while they are out and about. I would imagine that the parents of the kids that were mauled by the Tiger never even considered that they would find themselves in legal situation like they did. Of course they got legal help because of the high profile of the incident. And even though the attorney's probably haven't charged them anything yet, believe me they will. Cases like this one get legal help because they are pretty much guaranteed some sort of settlement from the Zoo. Attorneys aren't stupid. They know how to work the system to get what they want.

But what happens to the person that's just bit by a dog? It can be just as serious but it doesn't warrant the same attention as a Tiger mauling a kid. The fact of the matter is that legal help is needed. We can't live our lives expecting things to be perfect. It's not everyday that people get mauled by Tigers. But dog bits are as common as getting a cold. Just like people do what they can to protect themselves from a cold, we have to do what we can to protect ourselves from the unexpected.

Legal help is becoming a priority for anybody who is living a decent life and whats to protect their lifestyle and most importantly their rights. Not knowing your rights is like not having any rights. And none of us know all our rights, that's why we need attorneys.

Ced Reynolds

123. Can you predict when you'll need legal help?
Can you predict the future? Do you know when you'll need legal help? Can you name the person who will
sue
you someday? The answer is most likely no. Even the people who can predict the future are only right part of the time.

It is sad but true that we live in the most litigious society in the history of mankind. We have more people who have just enough knowledge about the law to be dangerous. Unfortunately their limited knowledge is hurting people like you and me.

If there was something you could do to protect yourself against unscrupulous gold diggers would you do it? The fact is if you're really poor you might be able to get assistance from some sort of non-profit legal aid group. If you're rich you have the money to cover legal challenges that come up. legal help for the middle class is just as much a need as it is for the poor and the rich. It's probably more of an issue because the middle class are doing all they can to get by.

Not having legal help at the time you need it produces fear in a big way. More than that is most people don't even know legal help is affordable for the middle class and the quality of service ranks right up their with the rich and famous. But what stops them from getting the legal helpthey need? Simply not knowing it exists.

A Prepaid Legal Membership is easy to get as it is affordable. You can investigate the benefits of a membership online and determine for yourself the value it will bring you and your family and even your business if you're a business owner. We can plead ignorance to the law but we know we don't have a leg to stand on. Or we can prepare ourselves by owning a Prepaid Legal Membership and stop fear from being a controlling factor in our lives.

if you're tired of living a life trying to predict when you'll need legal help contact me and I'll help get you prepared to protect your family and/or business.

124. Legal help is still needed during the holidays
Christmas is here and believe it or not legal challenges don't stop. Legal help is still needed, especially among small business owners. Small business owners can't afford to rest on their laurels. Unfortunately it's still a day where we need to protect our interests. Business owners who own retail establishments are hoping people don't claim slip and fall incidents. Small business owners who offer services such as janitorial, construction, medical or any other service related business are hoping their clients are not looking for ways to violate their contracts.

It's no coincidence that small businesses go out of business more than big businesses. Big businesses of course have legal protection. Why do you think they get sued and remain in business even after major lawsuits? They function at a level so much higher than small business owners. If Small business owners could learn anything from big businesses is legal help is available right now.

Listen, I'm not meaning to be a downer during the Christmas season. My point is simple. It's simply to inform small business owners attain the legal help they need to function in business without worry and fear. If you'll just take time to Google the legal challenges small business owners, you'll find tons of information that will confirm the need for legal help.

Stay blessed and have a great Christmas and New Year,

Ced Reynolds

125. A late start is ok...
Sometimes we get off to a late start even though the day started hours ago. What are we to do? Get with it... That's all we can do. Start when you're at your optimal peak for the day. It really is a good thing that I don't have a regular job. Many people have to start at times they aren't optimal. It does them no good and it does their company no good.

I purpose to interact with a lot of business owners. I find that many of them are pressed for time and are often worried about the future of their businesses. What I find kind of funny is that they are this way all the time. Now don't get me wrong, that's all the business owners I connect with. The ones that aren't that way are the ones who have peace of mind because of owning a Prepaid Legal Membership.

Let's face it, business is tough. There are no gurantees of success or gurantees that a business will earn lots of money. On the other side of things rather business is going good or not, problems still occur. Some of these problems require legal assistance and business consultation. Owning a Prepaid Legal Membership can certainly make handling the unexpected a lot easier. Of course Prepaid Legal can't solve all the problems a business owner has but it can be of assistance in the areas of legal and business consultation.

Chances are you can predict many things that will happen in your business tomorrow. But the one thing you can't predict is the unexpected. If you had a Prepaid Legal Membership, the unexpected would be one less thing you would have to worry about

See you next time,

Ced Reynolds

126. Just listen to them and they'll listen to you
It is simply amazing how information comes to me to let you know about what's going on everyday. Today I was dropping my wife off at a doctors appointment. One of the nurses was sitting outside and admiring my car and we started talking. He's the same nurse I've talked to over the years about my business and the service we provide. The interesting thing today is that he was wanting to hear more about my business. As we spoke I talked to him about situations that have happened that I have witnessed at this particular clinic.

By now you know my business is helping families and business owners protect their assets via Prepaid Legal Memberships. As we talked we were able to remember situations that put the clinic in an uncomfortable position with their patients. There were a few times when patients were threatening to sue the hospital and even the nurses involved. My question to him was "what would you do if something unexpected happened to you today?" He had no answer. I asked him "what if you got sued?" He said "I couldn't afford to get an attorney, so I don't know what I would do." I didn't go on to talk more about what I do, I just gave him a DVD that our company provides for inquiring people. It was that simple.

The important thing I learned today was that I don't have to press people to understand what I do or the service I offer. It's in the course of my day that people generally let it be known that they have a challenge in one area or another that I may be able to help them with. Sometimes it's lack of money and sometimes it has to do with some sort of legal challenge they are faced with. I am not surprised like I used to be. People are troubled all around us. There's no need to force our offer on them and try to sell them. It's simply a matter of listening and carrying on a normal conversation. The truth is that serious normal conversations between two people often end in up with both people gaining. Today I gained by feeling like I had a solution that could help him with two challenges he is having in his life. He gained by being receptive to the information I provided to him.

127. What teachers, doctors, pastors, writers & construction workers have in common
It's not the wild wild west but it certainly does seem like it with all the stuff that's going on in our society. Just keep watching the news and you can see that stuff happens in the lives of ordinary people. Teachers, Pastors, Doctors, Constructions Workers, Laborers...You name it, people are in need of legal protection from the unknown more than ever before.

I'm sure you would agree that you never know what to expect each day you're out of your house. Don't get me wrong, we're not going out looking for trouble but the reality of it is that trouble has a way of kicking up it's ugly head from time to time.

Teachers, doctors, pastors, writers, construction workers and the like have the same problems. Not knowing what the unexpected will be is a problem for everybody. All of these professions have an element of being able to disappoint clients. Today a simple "I'm sorry" won't do. People are going for our pocketbooks. What will you do when a loving client comes after you with a lawsuit? Oh yeah, it may not happen but what if it does. What will you do? That's why I get the word out about Prepaid Legal Services. There are quite a number of things that are important in life. Ranking right up there with oxygen is having a Prepaid Legal Membership. Just like in the days before automobile insurance and health insurance, people were strapped with the burden of having to pay full price out of pocket for accidents and medical services. Today legal services range between $200 - $400 where I live. To put an attorney on retainer for just 10 hours would be between $2,000 - $4000. When we look at it from this perspective we can see why it's important to not be without a Prepaid Legal Membership.

This is not a joke. The day we live in is filled with calamity and people who want to take advantage of unsuspecting good natured people. At least with a Prepaid Legal Membership you can sleep at night and go out in the marketplace with peace of mind not having to worry about the unexpected costing you money in gigantic legal fees.

Stay blessed,

Ced Reynolds

128. URS - what does it mean?
There are so many people who are getting ready for Christmas by working a second job or working overtime on the current jobs. The question is why? In reality many people want to avoid looking like they don't have it together. But we know better. If the truth were told, Americans are upside down financially and we go further into debt every Christmas season.

Today I want to switch gears on you. I've talked about Prepaid Legal in most of my blogs. Today I'll be talking about the Prepaid Legal Business Opportunity. Let's be real. People who get second jobs and work overtime are in need of more money. In fact they are most likely in need of money more than just during the Christmas season.

For many years I've been involved with marketing products and services for companies and have done it with a small degree of success. I know how difficult it is to take no for an answer. The business of marketing products and services requires people who have tough skin. That means you can handle rejection. It doesn't mean you like it. It simply means that you don't take rejection personally.

Three Keys to succeed with your business opportunity

1. Find a product or service you will use and you know you'll be using for the rest of you life.

2. In your day to day activities, purposefully look to recommend the product or service to others.

3. Look to sponsor people who desire to use and recommend your product or service.

USE

RECOMMEND

SPONSOR

That's it! Just use, recommend and sponsor others. That's the key to making a business succeed. This is a formula specifically for network marketers. Network Marketing is a business that offers time freedom and financial freedom. The key is working it right. Doing it any other way will prove to be difficult to duplicate. It's duplication, that's the key in Network Marketing.

As I close, I want to challenge you to seek out a good business that you will use their products, recommend them to others and sponsor those who will use them, reocmmend them and sponsor others... Can you see the power of the duplication potential?

129. What about the middle class?
What will you do when your next unexpected life event occurs? I know somehow you'll find a way to make it through. Like most people you'll probably call on your family and/or your closest friends. But what if it's a legal challenge? Will you have the money for an attorney if you need one? Today they cost from $200-$400 an hour where I live in Southern California. That's if you want a good attorney. Are you ready for that?

Have you ever thought about why there are so many judge shows on the air today? What about the law and justice and crime and investigation shows that come on every evening? Something's up in our nation that's causing people to become sue happy and wanting to cash in on taking people to court. Of course most of us don't think that way. The problem is not us but the small minority of people who want something for nothing. It's the people who want something for nothing that you and I have to be concerned about. They are the ones taking people to court with fake claims.

Do you know why the rich keep attorney's on retainer? It's simply to protect their assets and for things that happen unexpectantly. Sure they have the money to hire an attorney on the spot. The rich realize that having an attorney on retainer is better because time is money. The sooner they can put out legal fires, the better. The question is could you put out a legal fire in a hurry if you absolutely had to? What I mean is would you have the time to research a law firm and hire an attorney in fast order? If you're like most people you probably would have to look at your bank account first. That's the difference from the rich and the middle class and the poor. Even the poor can get free legal consultation because of their lack of income. The middle class have been fooled to think we're ok. Not so. We have the same problems the rich and the poor have. But riches aren't ours and government assistance is not available to us.

What do the middle class do? Plain and simple, get a Prepaid Legal Membership. Why not have a low cost monthly membership that protects your assets and keeps you from frivilous law suits. Prepaid Legal Services has been around for over 35 years and nearly 98% of North America has no clue what they offer. It is by far the best kept secret that's needed by every middle class person in the United States and Canada. It's at least worth investigating. Even you can afford that. It's absolutely free.

Stay in the game,

130. A good thing gone bad
There's nothing like a good plan gone bad. All the work we do to make sure everything works out right is tough to swallow when all of a sudden a wrench gets stuck in our spokes. Perhaps you've been there. Perhaps you've experienced what it is to see all of your hard work go up in smoke.

For those of you who have had the opportunity to follow my blog, you know why I advocate having a Prepaid Legal Membership. I know we can't plan for everything but we can get as prepared as we can. In fact I believe it's our duty to do whatever we can to be as prepared for the uncertain as we can. Tell where you can find another membership that has such great value and prepares you for the surprises of life as a Prepaid Legal Membership.

Here's a story I think will give you a better appreciation for Prepaid Legal Membership. We'll call this woman Sonya. Sonya was looking to lease an apartment and she put down a good faith depoist to hold the apartment. The manager had mentioned that there was a slight chance that the person living in the apartment she was hoping to rent would renew their lease. Lo and behold the person did decide to renew their lease. So Sonya immediately assumed she would receive her deposit back. Not so. The apartment manager said the the deposit was non-refundable. Sonya didn't bother to argue with the woman because she remembered she had a Prepaid Legal Membership Sonya called her provider attorney and the provider attorney contacted the apartment manager and let them know the law on the matter. You guessed it. Sonya got her deposit back within a week. Just think, if Sonya didn't have a There's nothing like a good plan gone bad. 131. What if you fit their profile?
Yet another day of great stories about Prepaid Legal. Just this morning I heard a fascinating story from a gentleman who was racially profiled. Because of his membership with Prepaid Legal Services he was able to contact an attorney right on the spot as the police office pulled him over. In fact he put the police officer on the telephone with his attorney.

Here's what happened. The gentleman who was pulled over by the police was helping a friend move to another home and across the street a robbery had taken place at a store. The police offiicer pulled him over because he fit the "description." All this time Danny (the gentleman) had no clue that the store was robbed yet alone somebody who apparently looked like him was even in the area.

The good part of the whole story was Danny didn't have to fear anything because he knew he had access to an attorney. At one point one of the officers was talking to Danny while the other officer was talking to the attorney. The officer talking with Danny had no idea his partner was talking with an attorney. You know the rest of the story. The officers let Danny go because of what the attorney told them over the phone. Can you see the difference if Danny wouldn't have had a Prepaid Legal Membership. You may say that doesn't happen all the time. Well you're probably right. But I would much rather have a membership that protected my rights because of having access to an attorney. Here again is more evidence of Prepaid Legal being a membership that every middle class person should have.

Stay blessed,

132. We see something like this everyday
Everyday there's something I could talk about that happens in the lives of one of our members or friends of mine. From a lawyer's perspective it's not hard to believe some legal challenge will happen in most people's lives at some juncture.

Just yesterday I was taking my computer to get serviced and the business owner aske me what I did for a living and I let him know I was involved with identity theft and legal services. It didn't surprise me that he had additional questions. It happens all the time. As we talked he wanted more information and I gave it to him. But here's the big deal. A friend of his had signe a lease without the counsel of an attorney. And you know the rest of the story. Now a year later his friend is stuck in a lease he wants to get out of. Here's where I was surprised. He called his friend and put me on the phone with him. Lo and behold he's looking for an attorney. Of course I'm not an attorney. But I know what he's in for. He's in for paying $200-$400 and hour just to get some consultation and get a few questions answered. I was able to let him know that with a Business Legal Plan from Prepaid Legal Services he could pay on $75.00 per month and have access to phone consultation, documents and contracts reviewed and get questions answered about his business as part of the membership.

My purpose for sharing this of course is to make it plain that having a legal plan, espeically for business owners is no longer just for the rich. Business owners like you and me need to proctect ourselves much more today than ever. People have a tendency to think that just because we are business owners, we have "deep pockets." We can't stop the way they think but with a good legal plan we can be ready for any legal challenge that might come up. Are you ready???

Ced Reynolds

133. She almost went bankrupt...thanks Prepaid Legal
Just today I was on a conference call and heard a business owner who was so glad to get out of her brick and mortar business because of the law suits. Don't get me wrong, she enjoyed her business, she provided a good quality product and she made a lot of money.

Here's what put her over the edge. A former employee came back one day and let her know that he was going to sue her for everything she had. She had no clue what to do. Many of her friends said, just give the guy a check and get rid of him. She knew that wasn't the answer. The thing she thought to do was get an attorney. Boy was she in for a rude awakening. Attorney's cost between $200-$400 dollars per hour. What would you have done? Probably the same thing.

Here's the good news. A good friend of hers, in fact her business partner told her about Prepaid Legal Services. Long story short, she called and got a business owners legal plan and a family legal plan and was able to contact an attorney and they took it from there. Can you imagine have pre-trial and trial hours already built in to a legal plan? Well that's what this woman had. The neat thing about it was she didn't have to use not one pre-trial or trial hour. All it took was a couple of phone calls and a couple of letters from her attorney to the former employee's attorney and they settled law suit was dismissed. When they got down to the bottom line all the employee wanted was his last paycheck. It had been sent to his home but it got lost in the mail. Believe it or not the check showed up at a neighbors home during this fiasco. Owning a Prepaid Legal Membership gave this business owner peace of mind. It can give you peace of mind also.

Stay blessed,

Ced Reynolds

134. We're back at it...are you ready?

Hope the weekend was good for you. We're back at it. Back in the daily grind. Have you been thinking about handling the unexpected? You know how a true leader is determined to be a true leader? It's by how they respond to the unexpected. You see, when things happen, it's leaders who respond and extend hope that everything is going to work out right.
When it comes to your own life, you've got to be the leader. You certainly know the times when you had to respond to the unexpected and you had no other choice than to believe that things were going to work out. The same is true when a legal challenge comes up. The difference today is that we can be more preventative regarding the unexpected. No longer do legal challenge have to get the best of us. We can prepay for legal services just like we prepay for medical and auto insurance. The great thing about it is we can pay just a fraction of the cost for a service that can literally save us our estate. Legal challenges can literally wipe a family out financially. Even with insurances taking care of what they take care of, a law suit on top of a medical or auto accident can be so financially taxing it's unbelievable.

Are you prepared for being back at it this week? The least you could do is investigate how you can prepare yourself to be protected.

Ced Reynolds

135. Let's be careful out there
I'm off to the office in a minute or so but I thought I would take a moment to remind you to be safe this weekend. Here in Southern California we have rain and a lot of it. Let's pay close attention to our fellow drivers out there.

This is just a reminder to be safe and let you know I'm praying for you.

136. If we could dictate life events...
Wouldn't it be great to dictate the time and place where life events would take place? 'We all wish that was possible. Unexpected life events just seems to happen all around us but what can we do about it? We have a few choices. We can just hope and pray that nothing happens to drastically to us. We can just play the wait and see game. If we want to give ourselves more of a fighting chance, we can prepare ourselves with the proper protection that insurances provide. Now the thing about insurance is that there are so many. Where do we start? We hear people talk about life insurance, health insurance, home owners insurance, renters insurance, automobile insurance, liability insurance, disability insurance, long term care insurance... You name it there is an insuranc to cover it.

The truth of the matter if you really delve into the serious incidents that occur in life, is that there is most often the need for an attorney. But is there a legal insurance? What kind of attorney will be needed? Wouldn't it be expensive to hire an attorney? A person's head could spin 100 miles an hour worrying about how to deal with legal matters, especially if they don't have a particular insurance that would suppose to protect them. Even when people have all the right insurances they still find themselves having to hire an expert attorney. That's what the rich do. You probably are getting my drift by now. If we are to survive the life events that occur unexpectantly, we have to find a weay to function like the rich. But wait a minute you say. I don't have the money like rich people have to afford an attorney. Of course you can see this coming, I have an answer for you! Prepaid Legal has been around since 1972 and has made it possible for the average wage earner to protect themselves with a Prepaid Legal Plan.

Little did I realize how passionate I would become regarding Prepaid Legal Services. This company has brought such peace of mind to me that I've gone on a crusade to let everybody I know about it. Please don't get me wrong. This company is not an idol at all by any means. The truth is it's a service I believe every responsible adult should have. There is nothing like peace of mind when you know that you can't be taken advantage of because you can't afford an attorney. This thing is real. That's why I write about it so much.

Stay blessed,

Ced Reynolds Prepaid Legal

137. From a pastor's perspective
There are many things a pastor considers about his leadership and the workers in a congregation. Of the things that are probably considered the least is the liability each individual adds. What I mean is when children come in for instance to a classroom, any incorrect actions by a teacher could make a church liable. This really is as big deal, especially for congregations that have smaller incomes. Of course insurance covers the pastor for malpractice but what about the other leaders and workers? It's something to consider.

There is actually a way that I have considered to limit our church's liability. Recently I have re-discovered Prepaid Legal. It's an organization that educates average people who can't afford legal assistance about how they can protect themselves in times of uncertainty. This legal service provides unlimited phone consultation, document and contract review, phone calls and letters written on your behalf to concerned parties as well as will preparation. For a small monthly membership fee a person could have these services and much more. In the case of a church worker, wouldn't it be to the benefit of the church to pay for a prepaid legal plan that would in actuality keep the church protected as well as the individual workers.

I often think that small churches as well as big ones could be wiped out because of one lawsuit. It really doesn't have to be that way, especially when there is a solution as inexpensive as a Prepaid Legal Services. I would encourage any pastor or church worker to investigate Prepaid Legal Services if nothing else but to find out what it is and why they need it.

Stay blessed,

Ced Reynolds

138. Have a safe Thanksgiving - be prepared for holiday life events
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Today is a day where many people in the US will be giving thanks to God for the wonderful things He has done. Will you do the same? Even though today is a holiday, please remember that stuff still happens. Things that you would never imagine happen on any given day, even Thanksgiving.

Over the next few weeks we'll be experiencing the pleasure of the holidays and the pressure of the holidays. Wouldn't it be awesome to take a load off by having certain things in place? I'm talking about things that would prevent legal concerns. Believe it or not problems don't take off for holidays. The roads are busier than ever during the holidays. People are up and about more than normal and things that we would never consider happen to people we wouldn't have considered would face an issue. What I'm saying is you and I don't have to be people who are caught unaware. I know it's the holiday season and we're supposed to be thinking positively. Reality gets me to realize that just positive thinking doesn't do it. It takes preparation. Preparation in all areas of our lives.

I write to make people all over the world who are concerned about the unknown aware of what they can do to be ready when things come up. And believe me they will. As I close today, let me remind you that owning insurance is one way of protecting ourselves against unforeseen circumstances. Another way is having a legal plan for things that may pop up. I'm sure you would agree with me that it's much better to be ready than not to be ready.

Look at your life and ask yourself, am I ready?

Stay blessed,

Ced Reynolds

139. When legal challenges come up
Have you ever bought a home and discovered that things weren't perfect. I know you're probably saying "nobody expects a home to be perfect especially if it's not a brand new home." The reason I'm mentioning this today is because everytime we watch the news these days, we see and hear stories where people are experiencing trouble.

One would never think that they would have legal challenges because of mold or asbestos in their newly acquired home. But the reality is that homes have been sold to people with these kinds of problems and more.

What's a person to do? They've just invested their lives savings in a lot of cases and don't have the money to put an expensive attorney on retainer. I feel so sorry for these people. They've done nothing wrong yet they are having to pay for somebody else's neglect.

It's no wonder it's been said that we live in the most litigious society in the history of the United States. Again the questions is what's a person to do? Getting legal help is the obvious answer but the biggest problem is not being prepared to employ the services of an attorney. That's why I'm so thankful for my Prepaid Legal membership. If something like this were to happen to me or any member of Prepaid Legal, we would be able to contact an attorney without the fear of having to pay anything because the monthly membership covers phone consultation and if were necessary to go to court, it would cover that too.

This is truly a day when the average person who doesn't think they can afford and attorney or doesn't think they'll every need an attorney needs one like never before. The great thing about it is the privileges of the rich have been made available to the middle class. The poor are not so bad off because the government will offer them assistance. It's us middle class people who get a bum rap.

No more do we have to settle for not being prepared or not being able to afford legal consultation. Having a Prepaid Legal Plan is very similar to having medical insurance or automobile insurance. The big difference is that we don't have to have a medical emergency or an accident to use it. It's available to preventative concerns like a HMO plan. It sure is a relief to know that I have access to justice when I need it and not if I can afford it.

It certainly is a new day and the middle class will have to make a shift in their thinking and get on board with what's becoming available to us. There are other companies who are understanding that they have a segment of people who need help in a big way. That's why I gladly recommend the Prepaid Legal Life Events Plan to people everyday.

Stay blessed,

Ced Reynolds

140. What will we do?
Something significant happens and you don't know what to do. How many times has this happened in our lives and we were caught off guard? Most often have a legal matter that is the big concern. What about you?

These days I am not amazed about the things that happen. People just seem to be sue happy. Just look around. TV is filled with judge shows, commercials for attorneys and show that talk about the law. it's morning noon and night that we're bombarded with legal mumbo jumbo.

What will we do, just sit around and wait for things to change? Chances are they won't. We have to do something. The question is what will it be?

141. My perspective
Ministers/Business Owners Click Here

As a pastor and business owner, I need to be available to minister to my congregation and serve my clients, not putting out small fires all day long.

Like when a heckler visits our church complains that I purposely singled him out in my message and as he leaves, says he will see me in court. I have to make an trip to court to defend myself which costs several hundred dollars and only God knows how much time.

Or the speeding ticket my college age son gets for going 62 m.p.h. in a 50 m.p.h. zone. The fine it not the big issue, but I need to do something to keep the points off his record or else our insurance rate will go through the roof.

Then I get a call from one of my "good" neighbors - you know, the neighbor who says hello every morning so cheerfully you can't ever be down. She complains to me because some kids threw a rock at my office window and the shattered glass ruined her car's paint job.

Another neighbor sends me two invoices for reimbursement. One because he had to call a plumber on a weekend when water from our grass flooded her plants. And the second because she paid a landscaper to plant fresh plants in her yard. We're both tenants in the same complex but the landlord failed to respond to a water leak I had reported two days prior.

You know how the story goes...

In the past, a whole day would have been wasted putting out one fire after another.

Now, I do things differently. I pick up the phone and call my Pre-paid Legal Provider Attorney.

If I ever have a heckler threatening to take me to court, I'll call my attorney and let her contact the heckler and get him to understand that something said by a pastor from the pulpit as an illustration is not a criminal offense, especially when the complaining party is unknown by the pastor.

When my son gets a speeding ticket, my Pre-paid Legal Provider Attorney goes to court for him. We still pay the fine, but at least we keep the points off his license.

When my office window(in a leased apartment) shatters glass on a neighbors car, I instruct my Pre-paid Legal Provider Attorney to write a letter to the apartment owners and demand reimbursement for the broken window and the repair costs of my neighbors car.

As for the two invoices, I'll get my Pre-paid Legal Provider Attorney again write a letter to the apartment owners and demand reimbursement for plumber's charges and the landscaper's charges.

The greatest thing about all this is that I can handle these problems from my office with a phone call and a fax machine.

Here's how it works.

Members of Pre-paid Legal call their designated law firm and tell them what their "issue" is, such as a sue happy heckler, complaining neighbors, or a traffic ticket. Then they get a call back from a attorney who knows how to deal with that particular type of problem.

In most states, members can consult with their Pre-paid Legal law firm by phone on any personal or business-related matter.

And they can have an unlimited number of personal legal documents (up to 10 pages each) reviewed by their Pre-paid Attorney.

Included each year is one business document review at no additional cost.

Even if you've never used an attorney, this is a service you want to have like you have pre-paid medical insurance and pre-paid automobile insurance. The big difference is that you can use your legal plan to be proactive to take care of important things like a will and a living will. This is free as part of your plan.

For special services that are not covered by the basic membership, members get a significant discount of 25% off normal legal fees.

In most states, pastors who also own businesses can get additional coverage for their businesses, either as a Home-based business rider or a Legal Plan for the Self-Employed. If your church or business has three employees or more, you can even offer a Pre-paild Legal plan as an employee benefit.

We live and do business in the most litigious country in the world. Did you know the average American is three times more likely to end up in court than to land in the hospital (according to the American Bar Association)?

I would venture to say that pastors who are business owners are at much higher risk than the average American. We're with troubled people, write contracts and we own property. Three great big sources of lawsuits right there. All it takes to wipe out your ministry your business and your life savings is one lawsuit.

Why would you wait to get an attorney until you need one (i.e., until you get sued)?

143. Where to get legal help
We live in Southern California and weÂ’ve found ourselves being taken advantage of on more than one occasion. Getting affordable legal help was a challenge until we learned how to utilize the proper legal forms.

What we found was that every seemingly legal situation doesnÂ’t require hiring a lawyer. All it sometimes takes is a phone call and being pointed in the right direction. One thing weÂ’ve discovered is being prepared is extremely important. One of the most absolutely worse things that can happen to any family is to be ill prepared for a legal challenge. The least one could do is get a little educated about how to approach a any legal challenge.

Since the inception of the internet there is no excuse not to know anything we want to know. How and where to get legal help is one of those things we should want to know before hand because not knowing could literally cost us everything.

More to come,

Ced Reynolds
